He only missed Dally M by 1point last year to JaromeHughes ...will win it in a canter this year. As for he should never have been dropped from reps ...on form absolutely ...but you could also argue that not playing SOO seems to have sparked him and freshened up his club form.

His performances have been odd. He'll be playing well then 2 to 3 unforced errors in a short space of time which have cost his team games.

Still, never wright off a player of his caliber who has won 4 comps and represented his state and country.

Teddy is the best Fullback consistently but Reece Walsh is the most potent on his day.

You're right, but Teddy is also a quality human being, whereas Walsh is a FIGJAM Grade A Farkwit!!!

see if Reece Walsh is still doing it in 10 years time.

He won't be doing it in 3.

They will probably give it to the losing side again if we win the comp we have 4 NRL era premierships and 2 CCM winners the only club in the NRL era and I believe the only other club ever besides Penrith in 1991 to win the grand final and not have a CCM winner I don't think it's ever happened outside of those 3 games

In last nights post game press conference, I particularly liked how Trent listens intently to Teddy when he talks at 1.57 mark.

                Respect.

Walsh is an Olympic level wanker.

He's got a more punchable face than that Toby Green pr!ck who plays AFL for GWS.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Mate the hate is very, very real.

As you've pointed out, to win 4 modern GFs and only have 2 CCM winners is a disgrace and abomination.

To ignore it as a random anomaly is as non sensical as ignoring the penalty differentials over the last 25 years.

People who deny the anti roosters bias in the media, the NRL heirarchy and the refereeing ranks are nothing but flat earthers.

I hope so as I have him at 300/1

I can't believe how much his game has improved as he has agreed. He has always been a great fullback but now he is a great ball player. I can't think of a better Roosters player. A future immortal.

If there was a player worthy of the CCM in a losing side, it was Luke Phillips in 2000.

                          2. Daylight.
                          3. Edwards.
My point being that there's a bridgeless gulf between Teddy and the other NRL fullbacks. Slotting Edwards in at number 3 was an easy option and not necessarily how I would rate him.

It’s been good, great even, but I don’t think it’s Teddy’s best season. 2019 was exceptional, he won everything.
It’s definitely his best year as Captain, Yes.

He looks refreshed with not playing Origin.
Tedesco played 23 Origin games straight and still won Jack Gibson Medals and a Dally M plus RLPA player of the year.
Meanwhile the Penrith guy looks exhausted after only playing 5 Origin games.

I don't watch enough these days to know for certain but would say Teddy's arguably the only consistent FB this season. Like who's there?
                              - Walsh is absolute rocks and diamonds
                              - Edwards has been bland... needs a hawaiian shirt and a job in IT
                              - Pappy's fun for the cameras and has a cool AFL mull (wrong sport bruh) but the Storm have had some dumb losses and he doesn't step up as an out and out winner when other spine players (e.g. Hughes and Grant) are out
                              - Trbo is this mythical GOAT due to some mad Origin tries he scored 5 years ago before his injury curse hit
                              - Gutho's okay
                              - Latrell's a centre and he's played hardly any footy this season so scratch him
                              - Charnze's probably one of the better ones... maybe the Faders have a guy who I'm missing too?
                              - Hammer gets an honorary mention as a slot-in FB whose size and speed can smash teams under the right circumstances.
                              - Ponga I almost forgot as he doesn't play much footy.

Teddy's not just a FB. He's a leader and he's dragged our @rses into the finals despite this being a 'rebuilding' year where many pundits had us outside the 8. A rebuild year where we're arguably close to $2m under the cap in terms of available players, having released Young and Cheese...
