I'm happy for the club to announce that it was Diktor Radley, his long lost twin who bought them. I couldn't care less who bought drugs and what they did with them so long as they're not harming anyone else.
Mate that is vey short sighted you obviously haven’t seen the damage drugs do to people and their family and friends - why do you think they are illegal

Club seems to be in the dark still.

        Sydney Roosters Statement

AuthorSydney RoostersTimestampTue 26 Aug 2025, 02:45 PMShare on social media

The Sydney Roosters are aware of speculation in the press that references a report we have not seen involving (among others) a Roosters player.

With allegations due to be heard in Court next month, the Club will be making no further comment until the conclusion of that aspect of the legal process.

The Sydney Roosters have procedures in place to deal with the sorts of allegations made in today’s written media and on TV. We will address the matter once the facts have been established via the judicial system. When in possession of the facts, the Sydney Roosters will take any necessary action, including any action available to us to defend our proud name. It is what our fans, staff, players and sponsors demand of us.

The Club has been in contact with the NRL Integrity Unit.
The club firing a shot across the bow of Ch 9 and Chammas.
The whole scenario has a stench of money changing hands for bit info. If so the $ to pay for Smiths debts and further debt to his lawyer.

        • For what it’s worth, Paul Kent (on his podcast) is fairly certain it’s basically a storm in a teacup. Not sure what anybody thinks of Kent, so make of that what you will.

What he said was that Smith essentially told a mate he was starting in their Manly game, when he was named on the extended bench.

Drug stuff apparently a bit less clear. Will be interesting how we perform this week for sure.

          • I'm not buying into anything the media says. Easts have released their statement and when FACTS come out we can talk about this.

For now News Ltd can waste its money getting lawyers to draft a heap of articles that implicate is through rumour and innuendo without saying anything. That's not news, it's porn. Not the type I've got stored away in the 'hidden' gallery on my iPhone either.

            • What generates more clicks?

Brandon Smith's Roosters team mates or Brandon Smiths former teammates.

The media know exactly what they're dong by implicating us directly into the equation.

Do they make money from these podcasts or is it more about their profile and brand?

                      • Who leaked Victor’s name to the media when he wasn’t even charged? Smith? Souffs? Crawley carrying on again on 360 like Radley has actually been found guilty of something and charged. It’s ridiculous.

Surely Snoop has some suppliers lined up in Oz. He's not too stupid to try and bring them (the drugs) over on the flight.

And I would have to think that illicit drugs would be tariff free. And probably GST free.

Maybe they seen Brandon Sniffy text message, something like "Hey Mr Druggie, Victor wants some gear"...

Wouldn't be that hard considering he has a private jet..nothing is free from the Govmint mate.

He'd still have to get through customs wouldn't he?
