Again you've taken my words and twisted them.

All I said was I can't understand why one of those three vices are illegal and the other two aren't. I never gave my personal view on whether I think they should or shouldn't be as I don't really get into politics on here. You've just assumed my stance and assumed that I've never been affected by people with addiction in my life.

No worries . Maybe don't make half a statement in the future.

I think it's short sighted to think all drug users are damaging their families, friends or other relationships though.

Personally I have no issues with those who choose to use drugs recreationally and responsibly. In the same way I have no issues with those who choose to gamble or drink alcohol recreationally and responsibly.

Why some of these activities are illegal and some aren't.. I couldn't tell you, it doesn't make sense to me.
It is known that coke pushes dopamine to levels that damage brain receptors and the ability for the brain to produce dopamine naturally. That implies long-term depression for frequent users. Also, who knows what damage the battery acid and cutting agents are causing users.

The point is, these people are still eligible for public healthcare. It may be "their bodies" but it is "our taxes" that will ultimately support their stupid decisions.

I'm happy for the club to announce that it was Diktor Radley, his long lost twin who bought them. I couldn't care less who bought drugs and what they did with them so long as they're not harming anyone else.
Correct you are not a judge but you are a highly esteemed and respected moderator on this site You were though quick to label Radley a drug user So in your own way you were judging. In saying that having read through this I agree with a lot of things you have said here to others

To answer your question Both those legal vices make the govt a shitload of money on taxes. They may even contribute to the things Dice is concerned about his own taxes paying for

              • I see Robbo has commented on the situation in his morning presser. Rightfully having a dig at third party journos wanting to be the first to get a story but without any actual facts or finer details attributed to it. He said the club can’t comment when the actual facts have not been put forward. In other words, it’s your typical Roosters smear campaign imo.

He should have said things like this coincidently happen at the end of the year.

                    • All well and good to have a dig at the media for raking it up and bringing the Roosters into it, but unless the QLD police are making things up, one of our players was trying to buy drugs mid-season. I don’t think the outcome of the court appearance changes that fact. Obviously though I don’t expect Robinson or anyone from the Roosters to publicly come out and say that or reprimand anyone from our club publicly.

Radley has not been charged with anything at all. This would not even be in the public domain had someone who has access to the actual charge sheet brought on SMITH not leaked it to the media. This does not mean I condone drug use. But I do hate trial by media.

Robbo has spoken and defended Rads + Chad.

While reporting it, Fox's lawyers have stated Rads is 'of no interest to Queensland police'.

The Cheese has been charged, stood down by the NRL and will have his day in court. The club has not been provided with anything else.

Maybe... just maybe... the QLD police should be checking who's leaking info to Fox? I'm sure their integrity unit would have something to say about that.

Unless it's happened in the last few minutes, the NRL came out yesterday and said they wouldn't be standing him down.

                              • According to Robbo in today's presser, Radley called him to say that he is not happy about being implicated. Neither is Townsend.
