Do you care that we will likely play a fringe first grade forward in the centres next week now we have Billy out injured?

I wouldn’t have had Dom in the best 17 either but to release him mid season is just asking for trouble and is very short sighted. Unless, as I said previously he did something to warrant immediately leaving the club. From Robbo’s glaring praise of him before he left, doesn’t seem to be the case.

I know, I’m just commenting on how things work here in the pen. It’s kind of funny. I agree that we should have kept him but I guess the club is using that money to upgrade another contact as well as get Junior Tupou as a cheaper alternative. I also couldn’t believe Robbo picked Chad again but I guess he thought his kicking game was closer to what we get from Hugo. That’s all I can assume, or as others have said he wanted to keep Sam on the left side as that is where he sees his future with the Hugo partnership going forward. And back to the funny side of the Pen, if he had picked Sandon over Chad like pretty much most of us wanted, no doubt there would be complaints now about why Robbo chose two tiny halves as speed bumps who can’t kick long to save their lives!

Yeah Sandon would’ve been crucified for any mistakes he made but I still don’t believe anyone wanted Chad to play over him. Seems the only person that thought it was a good idea was the head coach.

Billy joins a long list in 2025 of our players suffering injury from illegalities whilst the refs/bunker do nothing and the NRL smother it by the match review.
