    The Rich List-
    1.Broncos
    2.Bulldogs
    3.Roosters
    4.Storm

I dont know how were so rich if theres hardly any crowds or merchandise sold. Thats probably because we are run by smart businessman but the downside is they dont know jack bout NRL. That reflects our results.

We are a loser club. It starts with the message form teh top. The message is shit.

If you cant see it you are beyond help.

I laughed hard at some of teh fan's predictions that we are a top 8 or top 4 side.

I said wed finish 10th and that was being kind. Why? Because we dont have the spirit,m the reosurces, the guts and the psychological stability from the top to the ball boys. Its easy to blame teh coach...as useless as he is, we did the same with the last 4 too.

We have **** all of a plan. Just throw more money and hope something happens.

Its like ordering a shit sandwich and asking for more salt and pepper.

        Interesting name there Melon.
If only you were called Melon_Goat. Then we could be called the Three Billy Goat's Gruff along with Lime_Goat.

We can't live without Politis's money but we were successful in the early 2000's when he was here. Why. Phil Gould was helping the board. We have a board full of businessman who dont know jack about NRL. When you combine money and a good footy brain and Freddy, Fitzy you get a champion team. Sticky was also a good coach. So all we need is a good brain in the board, better coach and were done.

          This.

From the top to the bottom we are a softcoqq club. Always looking for the easy way out of the shit. No balls to fight, just sack coaches and gloss over the problem for a few seasons.

The difference with Scumnulla is they have very few resources to throw at their problems so they have to man up and fight their way out of a hole. They make tough decisions and make them work to the best of their ability.

          You know it makes sense.

            Agree Stsae.

I was sort of saying the same thing in my Sign A Superstar, Sack a Coach thread.

Yep I understood what your point was mate.

I believe the vast majority of fans agree that Smiff is on borrowed time.

Some fail to acknowledge that the remove him now argument has some major flaws. We have to pay Smiff out, we may well again be pandering to players who need to learn to work with what they are told not what they want, there isn't anyone with Smiffs experience off contract, we are again reacting and not being proactive when it comes to coaching decisions, we are sending a dangerous message to other coaches that they can expect similar treatment that our last 4-5 coaches have had to work with, and against, it would seem.

If Smiff has lost the dressing room it's over, that's irretrievable IMO. Trouble is who is asking WHY this has been a common theme in the club for the past 7 or so seasons???

The club has a soft streak that rears it's ugly head all too often for my liking. If we keep throwing resources at these problems without getting to the bottom, or top, of WHY and removing the real offenders it will be DeJaPoo groundhog style.

We are also sending a dangerous message to our players, that if you don't like the coach even a little bit, we'll sack him and keep buying new ones until you're 100% happy with him 100% of the time.

They also have 2 superstar players where as we have none.
Put Carney and Gallen in our team and we'd be contenders.

But yeh I agree....Politis should pack his bags....or at least get his staff to pack his bags!
He needs to move on. We've had very little success under his reign.
One premiership since 1975 isn't good enough.

You looking forward to going broke???
Think about it low memberships, fan base, merchandise sales thats where clubs get their money from but somehow without these were still the richest club in Sydney all thanks to Uncle Nick's money. If he walked we dont get money from sales but rely on Uncle Nick so if he walks we go poor.

Its not up to him to make us successful its the coaches and players. He did his job well. He recruited players e.g. Fittler, Fitzy, Wing, Anasta, Myles etc. Yes the likes of O'Meley, Mason, Anasta flopped but thats not his fault they were big name players tey just failed at Easts. Its up to coach.

He's doing what he needs to do but are the players and coach doing theirs??????

I wish we were as broke as Cronulla or Manly. They seem to be going ok.
Politis can throw his money our way but he must stay away from any decisions involving football!

i think it is grossly exaggerated the money the club gets from politis.
he is more interested in making money from the club than giving it.he may have done so in the long gone past to jockey a position into the club but if he goes the football club wont suffer yet only benefit due to his poor leadership and decision making for 5 years or more.
