Money is king in this game, even with a salary cap. The Storm receive a grant double the rest of the league each season, they have the highest paid coaching staff and access to the best training facilities in the league...no surprises they are top of the table each season.

It isnt 1975 there is a salary cap now and if there wasn't there wouldve have been 4 titles gone to our name. We are the 3rd richest club behind Horses and Bullrorts but where are we on the ladder????13th. Where are the nearly bankrupt Sharks and fellow poor clubs like Wests Flukers and Manly. Top 8. If you have a good team good gameplan, structure like the Gummysharks do and why Manly have won 2 premierships in the last 4 years.

I think the responses to this thread highlight The misconceptions about the club.

Firstly, if money is not an issue, why was Noyce hitting members up for funds for a high performance unit?

Secondly, if Nick is pouring heaps of cash in, how is this benefitting us?
You have a team with little resources like the sharks, using a coach that we sacked cultivating a belief and a common purpose.


Thirdly, our culture stinks.
