  • Minimum 4 sin bins if Klein is the ref.

    Comment

    • Given their season, the Tits did as well as could be expected today.

      It's up to Easts now.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Highly likely they appoint the Ch 9 Klown even though he is regarded as the top ref by the soo and gf owner he should be appointed to the other games where both teams are higher than us on the ladder.

He holds the record with 7 sin bins back in 2022 when he lost total control of our elimination final against Souffs. Anyone but Klein will do!

yes I am aware of the quoted fact and was there for that game. Radley was an utter goose that day when Teddy was taken out of the game by illegal play.

Hope we took ' our lessons ' from the Eels game.

Coming off a bye and getting a few players back recently they are not the decimated mess they were earlier in the season.

Beginning to despise the continued scheduling of Roosters vs Vermin in the final round as it always seems to cost us players whether injury or suspension ahead of the finals.

                  • Souffs hasnt won a game after a bye this year.

just asking but does anyone know if the nswrl cup comp only has top 6 for the finals or top 8. last year was top six. If so it means we played our last game yesterday v wests.

He said it will be likely about 6 players will get a rest - he also said it might be 3/4 or 8/9 so it’s a rubbery number - but from what he said it think it sounds like it will be at least half a dozen.

Regardless we have to win imo and we will treat it that way I’m sure. I like many on here hate having to play these guys last round particularly in this scenario this year. Injuries and suspensions worry me for this game they will be going very hard at one another and I think it’s very much a 50/50 game - they only have one game to worry about and it’s this one - they won’t leave anything in the tank to **** our season. On paper their side will be very strong - hopefully match fitness catches up with the returning players.

It’s only top six mate - I just looked at the finals draw and whilst it’s not populated with teams there is only 3 weeks of finals two games two games 1 game. So that’s got to be only a top six with 1 and 2 getting the first week off I assume.

                          I think it's top 5.

                          • hard to know what to expect from souths. the media have been saying that they'd like nothing more than to end our season but that's probably more the fans that the players. coming off the bye and no chance of playing finals you'd need to be a fly on the wall to know how they're tracking.
hard round to pick results. 1-3 on the ladder is settled but 5-8 could go a few ways.
i'm pretty confident we'll win. we've got momentum, souths would do well to play their best footy with an unsettled team, even if they're at full strength. i can't see bennett telling them to go out and play dirty. he'll want everyone on deck for next year

                            • The good news is no matter what the results of the games to come if we make the 8 win or lose we will be 7th or 8th and Panthers will be 7th or 8th win or lose for them so assuming we are in we will play sharks or warriors and avoid the panthers in week 1 no matter what.

All that said if we lose we could drop out depending on what the phins do. Cmon Chooks I love and hate these last round games with the vermin in equal measures.

Who would you rather play week one Warriors or Sharks? Both will be away games.

                              • I'm looking forward to watching how Galvin performs in the finals for the Bulldogs who have promoted Sexton to the bench just incase he chokes. A very interesting move by Ciraldo and Gus.
