In fairness to the Dargons though, there really hasn’t been any quality halves up for sale as of late (aside from DCE, but even then that’s a stretch nowadays). Then there is the task of trying to convince players to join them, which is probably the hardest part of the equation.

They’ve signed that young Atkinson from Cronulla who has wraps on him from when he’s filled in for Hynes. Interesting to see if he gets picked over Flanno next season.

I was thinking that but they probably have the easiest run home of any team - surely they get two wins out of Dragons Titans Eels and Eagles

They look pretty fragile at the moment. I reckon they need 2 wins to be safe.

If they finish equal points to us they could be in trouble.

Like Ive said in the past the Chooks can beat any team on their day but we wont win 8 in a row.
For me it's been a fantastic season & blooding Savala, Toia, Nawaqanitawasa, Foketi, Ioelu, Steep plus Billy Smith & Wong playing many games has been very enjoyable. Whyte has been the biggest surprise for me.
Who saw it coming that those guys would be so good after losing 6 top notch players from last year.
Work mates have commented to me about what a top team the Chooks are. People have changed their tune on the Chooks because of the guys we have developed & not bought

no doubt we're unlikely to win 8 in a row but you never know. in fact, we're unlikely to make the semis, but you never know. one game at a time. we're a fair chance to do the dogs this week

Nobody expected us to do it in 2002. I would have said No chance back then as I think now. But you never know.
Personally I don't expect us to make the Top 8 but if we do I expect us to go close to winning the whole thing all being fair with injuries and 50/50 calls.

The nemesis is waiting in the final round with something to prove. After a disappointing year, what better than to snooker Easts at the death. Trell's impressive return on the weekend was ominous and Walker and Humphreys will be back in a couple of weeks. Hopefully a finals appearance will not hinge on that game.
