sharks have an easy draw and we're unlikely to catch them but the dolphins and eagles are catchable. if we win both of those games we could still make the 8 with 30 points
Dolphins have a huge advantage in there for and against, manly are well ahead of us too.

we're unlikely to make the finals but we're more than just a mathematical chance but we'll need to play better than we did tonight

We are still masters of our own destiny But when you throw in our shit defence near the line Our inability to hold the ball and the blatant bias refereeing against us on a weekly basis snd our upcoming fixtures We look finished and will end up on sbout 28 points

Although we have ‘big names’ and rep players they aren’t up to nrl standard. Only players like Teddy and Toups and this year Savannaa have really stood up. Angus hot and cold like before. Walker lets in a try every game. Collins is great for qld but back into his shell. Townsend should have retired. The future is not with our long standing players. And we need to get rid of the rooster risk ridden style or get rid of Robbo. Our errors are totally unacceptable.

I get it’s good to support the team and want to do the calcs to see what would get us into the 8 but what’s the point? We are nowhere near winning a comp, no closer than we were last year. We are prone to these dud games whenever we don’t get a roll on early. Cronulla are doing nothing this year and they made us look fairly ordinary. Rebuild a few years away yet.

The coach trying to out think the room at every opportunity doesn’t help the cause either.

just enjoy the roller coaster of this year.

8-10th would be an accurate finish - can match it with the top teams but then also lose to the bottom ones.

Last night was a must win,but we didn’t end up playing that way unfortunately..

                    Season over in my opinion.

                        I think so too.

The Dolphins and Penriff are pretty much certainties and it was really us or the Sharks. I reckon Manly will drop out given their tough run.

We need to beat Melbourne at least once to have a chance.

The frustrating thing is we probably will beat Melbourne once and then lose to Parra or Manly and undo it.

What is it with line defence when an opposition player cuts back in between our defenders, usually forwards and gets through to score?
Case in point > Xerri a few weeks ago and Burns last night. Its pathetic and unacceptable at NRL level to continually happen. I think Steep saved another one last night.

i don't think the dolphins are sure things. they've got games v raiders, broncos, manly away and us and could lose all 4
we were poor last night and didn't get the rub of the green with ref decisions. maybe we won't be poor in the future and might get lucky besides. no one's got a crystal ball
