Ha - wasn’t a game review just my thoughts on Sam’s output - they beat us easily 4-0 to them half time. 26-18 full time we didn’t score a point in the first 62 mins.

it was a shit game that’s all I got to say bout dat. Both Walker and Rodwell the half were reasonably ineffective in attack.

I wouldn’t worry about his form. Just glad he got through unscathed.

No I agree for the first hit out back I think it was obvious the goal was to complete 40 mins unscathed. He’s timing was a bit off actually and I wouldn’t expect anything else tbh after a year out.

I think the value for Sam Walker is this game was to get some match fitness and 40 min without an injury concerns
not to set up 4 tries and get MoM in nsw cup

I thought Sam's class stood out, looked like a first grader in reserves.
Defended and organised well.
Kicks were not bad except the goal line dropouts which need work
Overall what I expected.
Will play firsts next week

Those short dropouts were very difficult into that howling wind - I was out there it was straight into it. They weren’t poorly struck as much as it was a poor choice to attempt it in those conditions.

Appears Knights may have as many as we have out on Saturday. Ponga, Frizell, Thompson, Gamble and Elliott definitely out. Saifiti and Best probably out (may not even be named in 22). Hetherington touch and go. Knights very short on middle forwards.
