    Good one.
    Doesn't seem nearly enough.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I think of Boyd Cordner and Jake Friend as well and wonder how they fair later on in life as a result of their repeated concussions.

Without doubt it's been proven that concussions and especially repeated concussion can have an affect on the person later on in life. i.e CTE ( Dementia)

There is a link between head injuries and neurodegenerative diseases.

Maybe why the post was deleted perhaps.

Your never ending turgid sludge, masquerading as wisdom, probably has a more deleterious affect on all our brains than any number of concussive shocks absorbed by Keary, Friend and Cordner over the past decade.

And by the way, it's fare, not fair.

For someone who tries to appear sagacious and superior, you're just a common, garden variety, dunce.

The more I think about it my head scratching gets worse as to why the club would post a picture of Radley & a joke about 38 concussions.

With the forced retirements of Cordner, Friend & the Keary issue's & Vic himself it paints a bad interpretation of how the club views & deals with concussion issues to outsiders.

Woke has nothing to do with it...common sense does.

Victor ticks all of those boxes & thats why he is loved.

Ian Roberts now publicly blaming league for his Epilepsy.

IMO the entire CTE discussion has become unhinged. I read that in USA 99% of deceased NFL players are proven to have CTE damage to their brain tissue. I am not calling bs on those figures. I just want to point out that if 99% of players have it then it also includes the kickers who experience near zero contact. That means it is not necessarily the heavy contact, or even the dozens of moderate contacts.

My personal experience is if I run on concrete, I can feel the jarring in my brain (as well as my knees), less so on grass. Because of this for years I have exclusively been light running on my shock-absorbing treadmill. I will make a hypothesis that I believe will be proven correct in time: It is the sum of all impacts to the brain that are damaging, including the thousands of steps per day, and that much like the Fourth Power Rule for damage to our roads, heavier impacts are exponentially worse. However, in the context of NRL those heavier impacts are so few and far between that they cannot be the major cause of CTE.

It was taken down because the stats get so quickly out of date - they would have had to be continually making up new tshirts for all categories - they all advanced bar one by at least 1 last week

                    It all cascades, doesn’t it?
                    • In 2024, the NRL pulled in a record $744.9M. Around $70M (9.4%) came directly from gambling—bookie product fees, etc.
                    • But it runs deeper: gambling ads bankroll an estimated one-third of the $400M broadcast revenue.
                    • More than half the clubs are sponsored by betting companies, and some stadiums might as well be TAB lounges with goalposts.
The product’s tacky as hell. It’s not even about footy anymore—people tune in to chase multis, not watch the actual game. I’ve never been tempted; I’d rage-quit after the first dud bet. Never touched the choofs either. But some folks can’t resist a buzz when it’s served with bright lights and quick dopamine.

And don’t get me started on the podcasters. Career fizzled? No worries—start a pod where you read the ladder aloud, give some half-baked takes, and wrap with your tips for the week. Apparently that’s “content” now. Bravo.

The game is being run the head of Racing NSW and it's by design, that's why the 6 again was brought in it creates more upsets which entices punters to jump on the outsiders and load up on the multis.

Mate, I've even given that supposed Gambling Helpline a call. Didn't tip me a single winner. Helpline pffft.

Those helplines aren’t what they’re cracked up to be. My mate called the Sex Addicts Hotline and they simply refused to give him a hand. ️

                                Here's a tip.

Never back an Aussie tennis player to win a tournament.

Keep betting on them to lose (except De Minaur - although I cleaned up on him when I backed Bublik to beat him at the French Open).

If they win a couple of rounds, just double up on them to lose in the next round. In a 2 horse race, you can't fail (in most cases).

The best players to regularly bet against are:
                                • O'Connell
                                • Duckworth
                                • Vukic
                                • Hijikata
                                • Kyrgios (if he ever returns)
                                • Kokkinakis (as above)
                                • Walton
                                • Schoolkate
                                • Gadecki
                                • Inglis
                                • Gavrilova
                                • Sharma
                                • Tomljanovic
                                • Aiava

The abovenamed will never, ever win a WTA or ATP tournament. But keep your eye on 16yo Emerson Jones. World's #1 junior female and looks to have great potential (in looks and ability).
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
