With DCE as their halfback and their leader, Manly have made the top 4 once in the last 10 seasons. And played in zero grand finals.

Only someone clutching at straws can compare yesterday's games where one team had close to their full roster available playing a weakened last placed team and one had 10 starting players out. Take Teddy and Toups out and EButch was our most capped player with 62 and about a dozen of them you can count on two hands. Loooooong bow.

There is a reason Manly don't want there highest capped player with 344 games. Which NRL club in history has told their most capped and a one club player he can go to another NRL club?

And BTW where is our stats King? He made a cameo and disappeared again.

I just think we need some leadership and I don’t think Sam Walker is at that stage of his career when he can lead the team. He’s flamboyant and brilliant and I love watching him play but with DCE and Walker next year we have a much better chance of winning a comp.

He was surrounded by a gun side in last and this years QLD SOO team and flopped.

The other interesting thing is that Gus Gould didn't want DCE and instead opted for Galvin who is 19 and has signed for $750k a season.
