Or is stuff so shitty at Manly the whole sides better off if he walks early ?
DCE cannot cop the coach Seibold nor CEO Mestrov.

Having 2 of the Top 4-5 halves in the comp at our club sounds like a good idea to me.
You can only have one game managing half.

Who are you playing at 5/8?

Walker would be my choice. Better runner and second phase player than DCE.

        • There's some reports of a divided dressing room at Manly all around DCE.

WTF knows if it's true. If it is then they'll be looking to piss off DCE I'd guess

There was talk early in his career he didn’t get along with the rest of the team chasing the $$ where the rest of the team took less then they could get elsewhere to play in a winning team.

Even a few years ago he got into a blue with Hastings resulting in him being let go (even though Hastings seems to have trouble everywhere).

Since he announced he was leaving Manly have tanked with talk of a fractured team.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he is here within a few weeks but I’m not sure he will be a good fit.

            • We don't need him! Our young halves are progressing nicely and in a timely matter which should see us being a force in the near future.

The rumoured fallout between DCE and his coach and club CEO demonstrates a lack of professionalism on his behalf. Manly's recent form slump is also rumoured to be attributed to DCE wanting to leave the club. Again where's the professionalism. Red flags galore!

Furthermore, he stole James Maloney's 2013 CC medal so I don't want to see him anywhere near our club.

              • I cant wait for DCE's arrival.
We're going to win the comp just like wedid with Cronk.

So with Hastings I've just completed a quick Google search and apparently the consensus in the media was Hastings was wrong and DCE was in the right, apparently Hastings has acknowledged publicly to making a "stupid f***ing decision" in regards to his professionalism which DCE called him on. Hastings also apparently had issues with people at the Roosters and of course has since gone onto have issues at the Knights as well which is why he's on huge money and playing NSW Cup.

If he's here within a few weeks I don't see how he isn't an upgrade. We lack experience in the spine, what are we going to do? Not take him so we can have more Sandon Smith?

How is DCE the unprofessional one?

My knowledge of it was Manly never made an offer to DCE so he decided his final year was it, they desperately tried to make an offer via live television (Which makes them unprofessional) whilst DCE went on TV later that night, said nothing negative about them and said he had no ill will towards them, this probably isn't true but he hasn't made Manly look bad at all publicly, has honoured his contract and will do so unless they want him gone, that's the epitome of professional.

Sandon Smith is never going to be a force, DCE is a massive upgrade on either of our halves playing right now.

Seems like it's always someone else's fault. How convenient!

I'd love to hear your spin on why he stitched the Titans up after they confirmed back in 2015 that both parties agreed on a deal. Man of his word? Nope!

For the 10th time it will be Savala and Walker in the halves and not Sandon Smith so there's no need to worry.

Things DCE can teach our halves.

                    How to backflip.
                    How to be selfish.
How to best throw your toys out of the Pram.
How to tank when things don't go your way.
How to play 2 seasons too many and just for the money.
How to receive a CC medal and smile when you didn't deserve it. lol

To be fair he was very good that night in 2013 - but we won and MotM in my opinion should be the person who had the most positive influence on the result of the game! Excluding the refs - shout out to Carlos.
