    • On 360 they say Sandons being shopped around.

Thought shoot they are not waiting to clear the decks.

We got the Dogs coming up and either Sandons mentally down or hope he thinks FU and has a blinder.

And I wasn't a fan of SS but he grows on you a bit like a scab after a tatt and when it comes off you got a piece of art.

His manager is shopping him. The club offered him an extension which he declined. Probably just a play to increase the contract amount.

        • For anyone who has seen Rodwell play you wouldn’t be concerned one bit about Smith leaving.

          • Pairing two small halves who need defensive protection and can't kick much further than 30m has been a terrible idea since 2019.

I like Sandon but not paired with Walker.

Point being is that we have 1000 halves and now we're rumoured to be signing DCE.

Meanwhile there's no contingency for Teddy's retirement which appears to be 18 months away.

It’s a big show of faith in him for our club as I personally think Manly when fully fit have a better positioned squad than ours to immediately challenge for a premiership. Perhaps he has assurances that we’ll be adding to the squad. Makes sense based off all the player movements.
                  If the price is right?

Heard the talk out of Manly was that the NRLs nominal value for DCE was $300-400 max. Like with Ben Hunt at the Broncos, the NRL cap value for halves can drop dramatically.

If the Chooks pick up Daly for $350k on the cap, that’s pretty good value.

Manager must be trying to get himself deregistered then because negotiations can't take place until November 1.

Will be interesting to see the real NSW & Jersey Flegg cup teams this Sunday.

Same as the Galvin thing. You can't officially make an offer but there is nothing stopping the manager from having hypothetical discussions with a club.

                          • I am glad the Roosters are showing underperforming players the exit door in their player retention policy.
When DCE shows he is useless after the first 6 games of 2026, the Roosters can piss him off to another club.

Smith is more worried about Rodwell then DCE and the clubs future is with Rodwell

                              • I thought Elliott was the one who was next man up for the halves position.
Did I not read on here that Rodwell was leaving?
