Yeah but the ponies offered him a job after he's done playing.....maybe that's a big earner

So they get him for considerably cheaper than he’s on now and with a roster stacked with origin players. I wonder if Tallis will cast any innuendo over this signing.

The rumour in some media is Hunt for a bit over $800k to the ponies.

Life goes on and we face next season hopefully with some grit and purpose. Oh and let's work on cutting out the stupid errors and maybe some practice on holding on to the ball

You can front end contracts, upgrade existing players which would all make sense when there isn't much out there to choose from.
I agree, but if all we do is front end contracts and we don't fill the holes we need to & perform next season, we will end up like the Tigers in no time.

I have a high opinion of Hunt as a player but not to the extent that I felt it was absolutely vitaI for our hypothetical premiership chances to get him.

However I do fear us running Sandon and Townsend in the halves for 75% of the season. Yikes.

I'm fine with not signing Ben, but we have holes in our squad that need filling imo. 5/8, hooker, FRF, backup fullback and another decent goal kicker would be handy.

Hunts 1.2 is over two years no? The dolphins offered him 800 and 600 so i read - so broncs haven't paid 1.2 per year they've paid 600. Good deal both ways i reckon. they need him way more than us other than for the first half of next year.
