Yep awesome, we are now going to have one of the least experienced , poorest back lines in the comp. I hate the bloke but he’s NRL standard, whereas Smith isn’t in my eyes as he’s made of glass, Toia is Smith mark 2 & also young, the rugga bloke is untried, young & well a rugga player.

Yeah so let's do what the Tigers do and grab anyone that is available.

I don't rate Gagai. I would rather Pauga in the centres. I even rate Remis higher. But you are entitled to your opinion.

I'm sure our recruitment will find someone suitable.

Should have gone after Zac Lomax..the guy does some freaky good things. The closest player to Joey Manu..but not looks or personality wise.

Personally, I'm glad Gagai isn't coming. Agree with the views of a few posters, either Remis Smith or Blaize Talagi would be great buys, IMO. If we can get both, it would be better.

I would go Blaze as he has the potential to play back - up fullback if Teddy is injured and maybe if he develops in a couple of seasons could be promoted to the spot full time

He can also play in the centres. He's only 19 so he could be great long-term value.

Yep I think a lot of guys know that we are about to lose so much experience & have a few lean (for us) years.
For anyone to possibly choose living west like Fifita is also another blight that a area like that is considered to be a better destination that playing for us & living East.

Not all players would live in the area the team they play for is based.

I used to see Sam Perrett at Leumeah Railway station quite a bit when he was playing for the Roosters and later the Bulldogs

The 3 Paea brothers getting on and off at Minto railway station when they were playing for the Roosters.

Quite a few Lower Grade players and Juniors too getting on an off trains - Ingleburn and Macquarie Fields railway stations for instance.

One of the reasons Michael Jennings got a release from the last year of his Roosters contract was the travel

That’s because they already lived there. The Para brothers were also spuds not earning the coin Fifita is,so they couldn’t of afforded to live in the East.
You don’t move from sunny QLD on the coast to the western dunghesp, you move to sunny beaches. He can also afford it.
