If Sandon Smith is fit to be 14, they could put Connor Watson in the centre. He's all round game is so just so good and then we can get to have them both on the field at times...and keep Suaalli on the wing. Unfortunately I doubt Robbo will do that.

They favoured playing Egan at centre before Connor yesterday. Can’t see this happening.

Ethan went alright, bigger body than Watson, good footwork, has the occasional flippers for hands moments. Would get carved up by a quality centre, eg Staggs, but would hold his own against most of comp. Watson is on fire atm, can't move him from the ruck.
I liked how Pauga always forced Ponga to outside and then had the speed to do a legs tackle, it's risky, but you gotta play to the best of your ability, and he always does.

They are missing the Versatile, and Mercurial Mr. Fix it, the Hutchinator, as he would be a shoe in at left centre.

The option of Sandon didn't exist yesterday, and Egan doesnt do the work of Connor. From a run onside perspective I think Connor is the best centre option until Billy Smith comes back, as long as Sandon is available for 14.

While the stats might not show it this year I think Staggs has been very good for the Broncs. Super aggressive carrier of the ball with a great palm. Whoever marks up on him will want to be on their game

club saying jenko is not going to have an op. don't know what that means. nrl physio said yesterday that it would be 'tough to return in 1-2 weeks' so maybe it won't be the couple of months that was feared. pity - he was looking great.
we don't need another centre. hopefully toops is back sooner rather than later (and i also hope we can get him to play another year) and young looked good yesterday, so between manu, smith and suaalii we've got centre covered.
i'm happy with suaalii at centre - his biggest error is over-eagerness in defence but he's actually a really strong defender and if he can tweak things a bit he'll go great

He is a strong defender when the attacker runs straight at him, he is technically sound that way.

When there is footwork involved or when he has to make a decision on block plays/decoys etc he is very very very average. I like Suualii on the wing where he has played all of his best games, at centre he has been a liability most games ( Rd 1 being an exception where I have no doubt the narrower field helped him)

he's made some awful errors but i put it down to him committing too early. but he doesn't have to put the big hit on every tackle. defence is a team game and there's nothing wrong with staying in the line. no doubt his best position atm is wing but i reckon can become a good defender in the centres. hopefully sooner rather than later. i mean he's got a lot of other positives about him

Would you take Brian Kelly yet?

Suaali is getting burnt at centre
he offers nothing in attack no footwork or tackling braking ability and I have never see him pass
                          he is a winger only
a backrower filling in would do better then Suaali back there
hopefully Billy smith is not far away

You wanted us to ditch Billy Smith for that guy. You've always been a poor judge. The answer is still no. And don't tag me in your posts, you freak.

He did his ACL at training in the lead-up to the Storm Semi Final around mid-September 2023. I would assume a 9-month recovery, so around mid- to late-June 2024 would be the earliest for a return to playing again.
