We scored two tries in the last couple of minutes with the game gone to save a few blushes … it was a proper smack down at home in prime time against a depleted side that has now beaten us 10 times in a row

Penrith are not as strong as last year … when they were not as strong as the year before … when they were not as strong as the year before … we have made no ground on them despite losing no players of note … they have lost a bucketload of quality … they are either juicing or are superbly coached … we are obviously neither

If you’re not embarrassed … even for Robbo … then clearly you have no shame

Not talking about salary cap or how many years it took someone to win a premership.
What I said was imagine if Cleary, Bellamy or Bennett had our current team what we could achieve.

Bellamy gets average players and turns them into superstars. No one can deny that.
Bennett's team last year was put together with band-aids and rubber bands and managed to upset many teams including us. That is all on the coach.
Ivan Cleary doesn't get superstars given to him by Uncle Nick, Cleary coaches and develops players.
All 3 coaches seem to get the best out of their players. Does Robbo get the best out of his players?

Not sure how green the grass is, all I know is we have the best squad on paper and we buy all the best players and if either of those 3 was our coach we would be doing a lot better.

Our spine isnt in the top 4 in the game, you can't name our starting second rowers because we still haven't found them, we've got 4 competent first grade wingers but only 1 and a half centres and three 5/8's competing for the halves pairing.

The squad lacks balance, on no measure is it the best squad in the competition.

Robinson has to own part of that as he would have a big say on the make up of his squad but we need to stop pretending we have got the best squad in the competition. Its an illusion.

He was blessed with great talent to begin … he has been working with smoke and mirrors ever since … bar a few quality players that was a bang average lineup that smacked us at Allianz the other night … even the Broncos said they were inspired by their effort ffs

Bit of a long stretch to think Cleary simply got parachuted into a role where he had to do not much or have minimal impact.

Every club has a certain culture & systems in place that coaches create. Players dont train & develop themselves.

I started to think Robbo was losing it when he said Hutch was much loved & valued & was the new Aubo then soon after punted him to the dogs.

Fair dinkum, comparing Hutch to a one club legend like Aubo, think about that for a second.

People want to know why Penrith are so good? they are superbly coached … always play smart and at 100% no matter who is in their lineup … much like Melbourne

We on the other hand have a soft boiled egg as a coach … all the stars (and we always have plenty of those) have to align for us to do anything of note

I will give Robbo some credit … he is a superb recruiter … but it’s all a ruse … as a football coach he is barely above average on a good day

5/8 and halfback, they probably wouldn’t feature in the top 6 halves combos in the comp

frontrowers, easily top 3 rotation in the comp

hooker, not a top 6 dummy half in the comp

second rowers, way down the pecking order

lock, top 4 in the comp.

so out of 9 positions, we are solid in 5, but overall we are missing consistent halves,hooker and 2nd rowers.
