    it makes me sick watching Anasta not caring about losing, he thinks its all just one big joke.
    Nah, did you see him giving it to the ref?

    He was shattered that we lost to the Dragons on Anzac Day.

        If the ARL Commission thinks what's going on week after week with the referees is not going to affect the game, and turn the fans away in droves, they're kidding themselves.

          He missed two goals, then kicked a good goal just before half time.
          He's not the reason we lost the match.

          Try;

          . 'refereeing decisions/penalties'
          . gaping hole in our left side defence you could've sailed the QM2 thru.
          . Warriors played well.

              if its good enough for the likes of mini and aubo to bust a boiler putting it in for the team, its should be good enough for that overpaid golfing pretender to doo the same! or be replaced by a real 5/8 before next season!

Over the last 5 years we have had the least penalties awarded to us of any club. Now I am not suggesting you are stupid, I know you are not, just passive-aggressively antagonistic. We also are very heavily penalized - that is a separate issue and easily explained away by apologists for the News Ltd referees like you - simply that we have poor discipline and deserved to be whipped every week for 5 years straight.

                      But the more sinister phenomenon is how our opponents, week in and week out, for 5 plus years straight now, exhibit flawless discipline when and ONLY when they play the roosters, such that we have this wondrous statistic that we have RECEIVED the least penalties of any club.

                      So I disagree with your original premise, that the referees are not perfect. I think they have consistently demonstrated, and I have the facts to back this up, that they are bloody perfect - at giving us the short end of a very thick stick right up the khyber.

                      I know that whatever you are presented with you will maintain your patina of gracious impartiality, and moral and intellectual righteous superiority over the rest of us whingeing spoilsports, who just cannot accept with grace that the better referee on the day won...
                      Outstanding post that player1.

                        Nope, Braith hung Moga out to dry and left him trying to defend Hurrell AND the winger on his own.

                          SKD should've been in the centre, in position, and marking his opposite number.

                          Winger marks winger, centre marks centre, or tries get scored.

                              In the first instance BJ had made the previous tackle and was at marker. Anasta stayed in to take Maloney when it was the marker's job. Anasta should have lined up outside shoulder with Hurrell, you can't expect Moga in his debut playing out of position to come in on Hurrell when it was Anasta's man. He was marking his winger because other than Anasta being out of position there was no overlap. Besides, Moga saved two certain tries and was a part in stopping Hurrell in the 15th minute. On each of those occasions Anasta was standing there watching 10m back. On the second instance Mannering went across field. As soon as Hurrell changed his line to come underneath Anasta's job is to stop sliding and leave the Mannering tackle to Leilua leaving it two on two with the second defender in only needing to make an inside shoulder tackle if Mannering holds onto it. Instead Anasta chases his man and exposes his markers. Big men like Tasi can only move so quick and should not be put in positions like this where they are covering for poor decisions made by outside men. Carney used to use this tactic when he would run across field and essentially backwards to draw a defender out of the line with a straight runner hitting the hole created underneath. Perfect example being the Nuuausala bust against the broncs late 2010 leading to an SKD if anyone can remember. It speaks volumes that Anasta makes the same defensive mistake on Mannering that other first graders only make against the carneys and slaters of the game, infinitely faster and more skilled players. Fact is he would struggle in reserve grade.
