Maybe but I guarantee you the 5 YO would have made other mistakes. You will not get perfection.

Obviously not every decision will go our way but getting these calls right is their job and for my liking, they bugger up far too many. Missing one here and there is of course going to happen, but sometimes you just wonder how they could come to a certain conclusion.

I don't think anyone expects perfection.

Some errors are excusable others are not! You seriously can't claim those errors as being excusable? Scrum penalty is far too obvious!

Every game there is mistakes made by the refs, thats because they are human. No one go's to work & is perfect.

I just wish supporters would come to the understanding that their will always be refereeing mistakes, it's part of the game. You get some decisions that go your way & then you get decisions that go against you.
Nah sorry, tonight that doesn't fly.

The errors made by the referees tonight were beyond human error, they were just plain wrong and evidence that Perenara is not ready for first grade and lyons is too overbearing as an experienced referee who is struggling with his own knowledge of the game.

I think all any fan wants is a fair go.

And I know 99% of the league world hates us and thinks we are whingers, but we are not getting a fair go.

We haven't been getting a fair go for five years now.

Only the Raiders come close to us in terms of not getting any calls.

Then you look at teams like Souffffs, the Tigers and Dragons and see what the difference is.

How many times do the refs love giving a penalty against us on the 3rd, 4th and 5th tackle for absolutely nothing incidents that every other team gets away with?

The game is over, nothing will change. The mistakes will be pointed out to the refs & you will see them back next week. End of story.

I have you on my ignore list because I find you conceited and annoying but, as with Fred68 and Ray Cogburn, i often open your posts anyway.

Have you seen and comprehended the statistics quoted on here several times before about penalties? Over the last 5 years we have had the least penalties awarded to us of any club. Now I am not suggesting you are stupid, I know you are not, just passive-aggressively antagonistic. We also are very heavily penalized - that is a separate issue and easily explained away by apologists for the News Ltd referees like you - simply that we have poor discipline and deserved to be whipped every week for 5 years straight.

But the more sinister phenomenon is how our opponents, week in and week out, for 5 plus years straight now, exhibit flawless discipline when and ONLY when they play the roosters, such that we have this wondrous statistic that we have RECEIVED the least penalties of any club.

So I disagree with your original premise, that the referees are not perfect. I think they have consistently demonstrated, and I have the facts to back this up, that they are bloody perfect - at giving us the short end of a very thick stick right up the khyber.

I know that whatever you are presented with you will maintain your patina of gracious impartiality, and moral and intellectual righteous superiority over the rest of us whingeing spoilsports, who just cannot accept with grace that the better referee on the day won.

                Bully for you, bubble boy.

You're still on it. But I just showed everybody with that reply, if they hadn't already figured it out, the true smart arse antagonist you are.

BS. Games should be decided by the efforts of the players and not by refereeing errors. If the rules, referees, and technologies do not facilitate the desired outcome then something needs to change. If we just sit on our hands and accept mediocrity then nothing will ever change.

Yes. I used to referee at a junior level and I made mistakes. There were three of us out there and NO VIDEO REF.

They have 5 people to get stuff right. They should never have penalised the tackle on Ropati. How any vidiot refs get their calls wrong (and i am not talking interpretations here) I do not know. Replays clearly showed that there was no contact with the head.

Simple physics means that when Perrett was called for a knock on, the Warriors were the first to knock on.

We rarely get the 50-50 calls. I don't think our stats are as bad as has been suggested by others under tonight's refs but I don't blame Anasta for going off. For whatever reason, we get reamed more often than not.

Juggler, dice its only my opinion, thats all.

I to feel the Roosters get some rough calls but I accept that their will always be mistakes made by the refs during the game, I just dont put it down to the refs when we lose.

And if I thought their was some conspiracy against the Roosters by the League I wouldn't follow the game. I accept mistakes I dont stress myself over it.

Player 1 had some spot-on points, but you're reply too, was spot-on.
