Like him, wouldn't hate it if he re-signed but don't see the long term value in it.
He was very good at the back end of last year playing as a middle forward and I would expect that wpuld be his role again should he re-sign.

I agree he was good last year but whose spot in the 17 would he take?

A lot depends obviously on whether Crichton stays or goes though.

According to Weedler, Angus is still trying to organise a code switch and talks are underway with two Rugby franchises. The Sunday Telecrap on the other hand says the Roosters are stepping up negotiations to extend the contracts of May and Wong and a lot will depend on Crichton’s future.

Call me a cynic but this whole Crighton saga doesn't quite sit right with me.
At the beginning of the year the club came out saying that he was dealing with mental health issues. Then of course all the rumours came out.
Now he has the best wishes of the club to leave for another code. He even had a stint in reserve grade late in the season.
We will never know but there may be more to the story.Born and bred in the eastern suburbs.
