Seems like we are clearly the decks abit to help re sign Wong, Whyte, may etc with players like Manu coming up as well!
with Gus and Suaali gone this year or next, Momo also getting off and with jwh / tupou and Keary finishing next season there will be some coin to spend and retain

I’m an massive Angus fan and was watching him early on but he hasn’t consistently delivered for us yet and on a big pay packet
at his best he is better then cordner and end of last year the Chooks would not have released him but this year it’s a little different
I’d be doing everything ti keep Wong

At his best, Gus is a top 5 backrower

Unfortunately since he has joined we have only seen that maybe a handful of times per year.

This year he has looked best playing 30-50 mins in the middle
$700k is way too much for a bench forward with that output

I’ve never heard of 1 charity or cause he supports, so what a load of rubbish. I’d love to earn $700k a year to consume shrooms & contribute nothing on the field. All sports are hard, but there are far harder jobs out there that take more time away from family, have more pressures etc yet don’t get paid that much. If you can’t survive a year doing anything for $700k you’re in trouble. On top of the 700k it’s the free everything whenever you go out, free sponsors gear, free pre season holidays, perks etc on top, so most could easily handle that.

Wow big call RE Cordner. Cordners left nut is better than Angus has ever been. One was a leader who took us to glory, captained his state & country while the other has been paid more to perform at a lower level & then go on holidays & consume questionable substances.
