Team selection debates on a team that is historically riddled with injuries seems a little pointless doesn’t it?

No because a decision will need to be made at some point.

Daniel Tupou played 18 games this year, Suaalii 21 and Young 25.

Even assuming there was ridiculous luck and all 3 sat out games injured at different times there would still be numerous occasions where a decision would have to be made on who the first choice wing pairing is.

Suaali is not a centre and we have all mentioned our rage around robbo selecting him these for months
so we either have short memories of him being absolutely useless at centre getting burnt but mose Suli and showing no signs on attack

Since Mitchell left it has been a real problem position. With Billy Smith playing to his potential and staying injury free he is a must selection. Suuaalli has made his future clear and it aint as a Rooster so see you in reggies Joey boy. The wingers will be Tupou and Young. Teddy, Manu, Keary and Walker have a mortgage on their spots.

Look what Billy did in the all important last round match against Souths...scored a very very vital try by running thru Graham and whoever else it was.
Magical.
No way Suaalii can do that.

Billy must play left centre.

Our backs must be Teddy, Toops (super magical), Young, Manu, Billy Smith.

Cleary had kicked 16 out of 20 conversions from left side touch line...halfway thru the QF match.

Suaalii has taken up trying to curve the ball during conversion kicks instead of kicking it straight like Cleary does....it has failed.

Haha you’re probably right.

Im also just sick of trying to guess what kind of curl balls Robbo might throw next year in regards to team selections. Pick players in their natural positions and don’t get cute with it. Couple that with our insanely high injury rate we seem to consistently have it and seems like a pointless exercise.
