He was fantastic. I hope he stays as he is good backup.

Interesting. In the past you have described him as not a Rooster. Got your Souffs jersey ready for 2024?

Silly play which shouldn’t happen in a finals game however we recovered from that. It was as the 50/50 6 again call we copped that awarded them possession. Felt like there wasn’t much in it and Melb milked it and Klown was oh so happy to award it.

        • The thing about the 6A so late in the tackle count and 40m out on the 5th tackle is why would you “knowingly” do it. Which makes me think he didn’t and it was an excellent Melba milk.

Also why can’t they be penalised for always having players laying in the ruck? Has to be a ploy given the amount of times it happens.

Lastly when we were attacking their line there were multiple times they were offside before the ball cleared the ruck and not one penalty awarded. Absolute disgrace.

I just don't know what Robinson does with him next year..
Point him towards where the Waratahs are training next door.

Totally agree. He showed that with some decent ball he is more than a capable back up.

We get that many injuries that he'll end up playing 15+ games a year.

              • The play by Wong was one of the dumbest I've seen. Classic SKD moment.

He is a rookie, it will happen

That play didn't cost us the game, nor did Pauga or even Paulo and his flipper hands

That last try was pretty amazing. Like, gotta give it to those pricks on the clutch play. Perfect take.
If Toops was playing we catch that & win the game.

I like the short side stand and draw play, it was the right idea. The problem was Paulo was too flat, if he was patient and held depth he would have swallowed the pill and been in space.

He was too flat but that’s because he wasn’t expecting that play. The play was on though and I was more disappointed in Paulo than our Chinese representative in Mr Wong

So many times we had a ball runner get an arm free, look around and see nobody around. Very disappointing as it was these high energy support plays that our attack was built off not too long ago.
I've been saying the same thing for years.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

                            • I’m the first person to defend Sammy Walker at any given time but I must say he had a poor game yesterday..

His kicking game was average in terms of distance and he rarely ran the ball..

On top of that his flick pass when we were peppering the Storm line which ended up in Christian Welch intercepting and running 50 metres wasn’t good enough..

Hopefully he learns from games like that and comes back a more polished player next year!

                                I'm thinking they'd be papier-mâché by now.
