  • When will Robbo unleash Sam Walker?

Or will he persevere with Hutch who’s doing a great job steering the team around the park?

    Big call for Robbo!

  • #2
The way Robbo spoke tonight he still wants to see Sam tick a few boxes in how he plays on Sunday. I assume he will be another late inclusion for the Bears on that.

I don't think he feels a desperate need to include him at present. Hutch is doing the job.

But, the Tigers would be a better game to ease Sam back in, rather than straight up in the pressure Souths game.

I'll believe it when I see it with his return.

I doubt many on here would have ever thought that the Hutchinator at halfback would be one of the Roosters best players for the next three games after that loss to Brisbane.

Full marks to the Hutchinator I say as I have always backed him as I do all the players and Coaching Staff - 100%

Hutchison: 'I Just Want To Stick To My Strengths'

Mate if you back everyone whoever puts on the red white and blue 100%… then really… what’s the point of your opinion on anyone at the club? It’s all the same to you no? no discernment whatsoever?

He’s yet to perform against a top 4 team.

If our seasons on the line against Souffs it’d be a tough decision for Robbo

Hutch offers great organising skills, a big body and a decent boot

Sam offers magic when he’s on however he is young and is still developing his game

You really need to build and bridge and get over it - Coach Robinson has the support of the board whether you like it or not- pointless banging on about getting rid of him- You have no say in the matter

Still banging on about the best list - it's not and you haven't taken into account form issues and the injury toll - not a few players missing games - players missing blocks of games - 5 or more in a row

Round 20 I calculated that the Roosters possible top 17 had missed 104 games as a combo - Compare that to Penrith's 33

Not once did the possible best 17 play even one game as a combo - hard to have a so called best list when players are out injured and a raft of players not in great nick form wise.

            Possible best 17 - E Butcher 18th player
            1. Tedeso
            2. Toops
            3. Momirovski/Billy Smith
            4. Manu
            5. Suaalii
            6. Keary
            7. Walker
            8. Collins
            9. Brandon Smith
            10. JWH
            11. Crichton
            12. N Butcher
            13. Radley
            14. Turpin/Hutchinator
            15. Lodge
            16. Sitili
            17. Watson
            18. E Butcher

One can analyse the teams performance and drill down to individual performances but it's rather naff to continually insult the players and coaching staff and call them all types of derogatory names like you would hear at a primary school playground at play lunch.

Mate you haven’t addressed my point at all… everyone in red white and blue gets your 100% support? which is a noble ideal… but then it also begs the question… what is the point of your opinion on anyone at the club? because everyone here is obviously the same to you… so again… what is the point of your opinion of anyone at the club?

As for injuries? this excuse has been going on for years… we have had worse scenarios… and injuries simply have nothing to do with the weirdness we have seen this year

I haven’t given up hope… because as everyone knows… that isn’t biased or has an agenda against the club… we have the best list in league

And no I’m sorry to tell you… your dear Robbo won’t be here at the end of next year if he continues in the same vein as he has the last two years… and the new coach… no matter who he is… won’t entertain Hutchinson at the Roosters either… neither will any other NRL club

That’s just the truth of it

Sorry Les but while Nick runs the club Robinson will be the coach. He will totally overhaul the player roster but not the coach- there's just no one better credentialed besides Bellamy - and he can't be bought

I think he will give it away before then… then again if it’s as you say… it’s a pretty cushy job… always having a top 2-3 list at worst… no pressure to perform… living in Bondi

Next Saturday if he plays well today I’d imagine. If he IS going to play him at all this year, the Tigers is the perfect game to get some miles in the legs.
