Jaeman salmon is a Double premiership winner doesn’t make them a great player, just a passenger in a great team

in 2022 he could not tackle getting manhandled Many times which was supposed to be his best part of him game
could not catch a ball getting it passed to him or high ball
was a complete liability and looked to be nervous as anything

I don't think that's true. Its not the entire problem but it has also been part of the problem.

It's been evident that since having a settled backline our edge defence and attack has improved ten fold.

Continuity of side can not be underestimated.

The way Robinson was talking at his pre game conference I would expect to see Walker next week but I also think Walker and Toia have been moved over to the Bears so they can play finals for them which makes me think there may be a longer term plan for Walker in place that may not include First Grade this year.

Really? So I'm guessing you didn't see Momo's performance in our 2018 prelim against souffs. I'm not a massive Momo fan myself but he isn't the worst player in our 30 yet alone in the comp

They won't be eligible for finals. Not enough games

Paul Momirovski played 20 odd games for Penrith at Centre pushing Stephen Crichton out to the Wing in their premiership winning side in 2021.

                So obviously he can play

Took less money than Penrith offered to play for the Roosters - Ditto Connor Watson with Newcastle

Paul has played only 59 NRL games - 26 Tries and 24 Goals

I hope Walker is our 7 against the Tigers.

A Crichton was really poor with the Eels second try. He has had a poor year. I hope the bloke is alright.

Well yes of course it has some effect… but all sides have to deal with injuries… and our best players… with perhaps the exception of Crichton and Smith to a lesser extent… have all been available throughout the year… can’t use it as an excuse when the Broncs send out their reserve grade side and put 40 on the Dogs

Clicking into gear lately has come with being more settled… it’s also come with playing guys in their best positions… Suaalii a prime example… his output between centre and wing in his career is night and day… so that was just bad coaching and nothing else

so is it a tie between salmon and momo for the worst first grader you have seen ? neither would be in the bottom 3 or 400 worst first graders I've seen go around since 1992

Personally, I don’t to see Walker back this year.

He won’t be FG match fit and I think it’s too risky to play him for what will most likely be only 3, maybe 4 games at best.

We can make the finals without him. Let him get another full pre season under his belt injury free and unleash him in all his glory next year.

As much as I don’t want to believe it, we can’t fix this year with or without him.

I said at the start of the year this was our "parting gift" season for the Bears...so far so good.

While ever the Chooks are winning then Hutch will stay at 7 IMO.

Would you play Walker again this year?

It's a hard decision imo! I'm 50/50 on this one.

As for injuries? this excuse has been going on for years… we have had worse scenarios… and injuries simply have nothing to do with the weirdness we have seen this year

I haven’t given up hope… because as everyone knows… that isn’t biased or has an agenda against the club… we have the best list in league

And no I’m sorry to tell you… your dear Robbo won’t be here at the end of next year if he continues in the same vein as he has the last two years… and the new coach… no matter who he is… won’t entertain Hutchinson at the Roosters either… neither will any other NRL club

That’s just the truth of it

He'll be the coach till his current contract is up which is in about 5 years & I think they'll extend him.
I dont know Robbo but I have spoken to him & he's one of those blokes who has a way where he is able to talk to anyone no matter who they are.
Coaching is a complex mans man world in the NRL & the good ones like Robbo are able to be the leader & have everyone around them believe in their vision. He's the type of bloke who walks into Nicks office & comes up with some new idea & Nick is in aure of him. I dont think people realise that Robbo is on the same level as Nick at the Roosters.
