Cmon now. What they said is logical. You’re dreaming if you really believe that if they had a right winger locked into that spot Crichton misses out on a spot in the 13 for Momo. Jeez some get real petty on here.

We should beat the Tigers regardless of who is playing halfback but can we beat Souffs with Hutch at 7? It's the perfect game for Walker's comeback imo.

We need the Knights to smash Souffs today.

Great point and I agree. This is how we should be thinking to imo.

Some folk on here ........ are so into the delusion that Robinson can make no mistakes
and that Hutchinson is a better option starting NRL halfback than Walker.
I think some folk on here actually believe it.
Some folk on here......... are so afraid that if Walker comes back and we get to the 8 and progress further
it will show that Robinson's decision to drop Walker was the main factor which lead to our current position.
Which is struggling to get into the 8.
Some folk on here........... are so wrapped up in their fanatical denial that Robinson fukked up they would rather see the Roosters lose,
they would rather force Walker out than admit Robinson was wrong.
It is seriously demented to think we have a better chance of winning with Hutchinson at 7 ahead of Walker.
The histrionics about Hutchinson's performances over the last 3 weeks iare delusional as well.
The standard has been lowered so far that now when Hutchison gets through a game without stuffing up it is regarded as a 5 star performance.
I think many folk on here have actually forgotten how good Sam Walker is.

I agree with most of the above but you could argue that we've looked better with Hutch at 7 than an out of form Sam Walker who struggled against the Storm round 6 and the Sharks round 7 before he was dropped.

Robbo's major fark up wasn't so much dropping Walker but moving players around and weakening 4 positions. I believe that had he slotted Sandon Smith or Hutch straight into the halfback role we would be pushing for a top 4 finish.

The only benefit I see with hutch over walker is his defence.

sometimes that is enough to win you the game, but against Souths, we’ll need to score points, because they will.

We have won our last 3 games, with Hutchison at 7,
which I feel is his ONLY position.
the teams we beat are now running 11th, 12th and 14th on the ladder.
Is that really something to get excited about ??
I honestly don't think Hutchison offers better defence than Walker,
and believe me I have watched him very closely in every game.
                We need Walker back.

I still think dropping Walker was the major factor,
but I agree the disaster could have been mitigated if he had used Hutchison or Smith at half and left Manu and Keary in their correct positions.
The failed experiment of taking Suaalii off the wing also added to the disaster.
Robinson hasn't owned up to any of this as yet, which disappoints me.

The fact that we are 2 wins off 5th place or 3 wins off 4th and may still miss out on the finals is killing me slowly. Moving players around and persevering when we were in free fall has cost us big time.

I found it amusing last night when Fox was interviewing Munster before the Storm game - I had it on in the background while preparing dinner - anyway he was saying, we just want to play ‘our football’, ‘our style’ of football. Would this be the Storm Way for all those bagging Robbo over something which is pretty insignificant in the scheme of things?

Alan Katzman on X reported the following

Rob (Toia) saw very little ball, so not much to report there. Sam was very good in the first half but with less ball in the second wasn't able to stamp himself on the game. He's ready.
