Lol. There is only a month left of footy.
Strings are being pulled from above. I sense a clear out

Sorry that was referring to his contract status and where he will sign for next year. But he also basically confirmed we wouldn’t see Connor back this year

There would be no point bringing him back. He’d need a game or two in reserves and then about a month to build up his match fitness. All in time for his end of season Bali trip.

          Hutch throws good passes.
I've seen him throw perfect passes along the backline that have resulted in tries.
Not Hutch getting suspended, or giving away dumb penalties all the time.
Not Hutch who was abusing Sam Walker on the field for the world to see and hear.

I also recall how folk never liked Aubs playing centre / 5/8 and even dummy half and saw him solely as a backrower or utility forward bench player if not starting.

One can safely say the Hutchinator is a better 1/2 and or 5/8 than Aubs was - Aubs has him for backrower - pretty even at Dummy Half and I dare say Centre

Coach Robinson has a fair point

So you think he's more of a specialist than a utility..

The Hutchinator deserves respect putting on the red white and blue

Wonder if it was all a ploy to bump his market value up or act as a distraction so they could secure Taukeiho without us being able to compete.

Honestly wouldn’t suprise me. I think Gould is a flog, but he is also a smart operator when it comes to negotiations/contracts and manipulating the narrative.

If true this is awesome news. I'd prefer we keep Watson. His injury is a killer but it'll make him hungry and rested for next season. The best option we have for #14

                          I disagree.
IF he signs with someone else bring him back early!

I’m happy with this news. I still think he offers great utility value.

It works both ways. So many on this site made out like he was a gun last week. He kicked one 40/20; every single long kick went straight to the fullback. His 2 bombs went backwards. The clean breaks we made were on Keary's left. The clean break on the right that led Suallii's try was because Keary swung to the right for that play. Hutch did his job last week, nothing more, maybe less. Manu, Suallii and Teddy running on the right were hampered by lack of half creativity. Fortunately Hutch is no knucklehead, as we have too many already.

Let’s be real regarding Hutch,he is a capable fill in halves option and will help us win the games we are expected to..

But if we’re looking at beating the better teams,we are zero to no chance unless Sammy W returns!
