There was an interesting chat with Connor as part of his ABC radio gig. He said the day he did his knee was one of the worst days of his life.
It happened at training on Day 3 of the Sydney Test. The wash out day.
Because of the crowds they couldn’t get an ambulance in. The team doctor was away so couldn’t get the green whistle for him. They had to take him to an X-ray place in the Roosters van. Lastly when they got to the X-ray place they didn’t have any wheel chairs with the straight part for his leg. Hi dislocated his knee 3 times getting into the X ray place.
Based on that you can understand his comment.
No wonder with injuries like that we have lost 55 weeks of players through injuries of greater than 5 weeks since 2000. 8 more weeks than the Knights.
I hope he stays.
