We won’t make it. This weekend we’ll get pumped by a team who will fight for every metre, the changes are too little too late. It’s good we’re starting to blood young guns and preparing for next season.

Haven’t enjoyed one game of ours this year. I’m a pretty optimistic guy but we’re not off a little, we’re off by a long way. This won’t turn around after a week, we’re miles off the pace. We will start to win at a point we’re too far behind.

    I hope I’m wrong

Until the coach admits there's a problem we might finish bottom 4.

Bates...I HOPE we can turn it around, but what have you seen that makes you think they can do it. I see lack of preparation (mentally the act like they are partying until dawn and then dragging their asses to the stadium -and physically a general lack of stamina.) There is little effort and hustle (missed tackles, no kick chase, etc.) More stupid penalties and loose carries than I've ever seen. Constantly out of position on both sides of the ball. I could go on...but the point is that all of this can be corrected, but there has not been any progress in the right direction. It's has been the same thing practically every round.

This team has too much talent (both players and coaching staff) for this kind of performance. But until the owner or coach recognizes the root of the problem and has the balls to fix it...I don't see a turnaround happening.

Souths in fourth are on 18 points and we are twelfth on 16 points, the comp is very tight this season but our minus 90 is a worry.

Even though I'm expecting us to make it I don't expect us to get past the first week of the finals.
the byes are really scattering the standings though

if we take the byes out of it, Souths are 6 points clear of us and broncos are 4 points clear of everyone.

there also appears to be a total lack of our players pushing up in support, which is terrible .

the warriors scored a try last week off johnson where he had 4 or 5 players pushing up to support his run , if it was the roosters it wpuld be one player or none .

Once you’re a mathematical possibility you can kiss your season goodbye. To be honest I have not seen enough to show we can make it. Even against souffs and parra ( our best performances) they were able to score late tries to show we were not mentally focused. There’s no killer instinct in us nowadays, unlike under Cordner when he used to keep us going non stop till after the long whistle. Teddy is more of a lover than a fighter.

I’m looking forward to Coach Robinson’s presser today… “we’ve trained really hard, and we’re up for the challenge”

                  ”We’re ready to go”

                  That’s one of his favourites

Then after we get pumped he will talk about how exciting the match was lol

It’s comical at this point. The same cliche’s which he is yet to deliver on this season. I wonder if the board are starting to ask questions..

Every time I watch it looks like the players have no idea what the game plan is. The QLD team has more cohesion and they only have a week and a half together. Makes you wonder what they are doing on the training paddock.

The byes don't give a true indication, Souths have played 15 games and we have played 13.
We don't win those extra 2 games and we are further behind.
The only true way to work out where we are is work out the percentages for win from games played, I can't be bothered to do that.

Even if all that is taken into account it still not a fair draw depending on what teams you play once or twice.
