Looks like both Sofitels are doing the Christmas lunch this year horrie, $195 for the Wentworth, $295 at the darling harbour one.

Just booked Christmas Lunch at Delta Rue at the Sofitel Wentworth, same deal as last year, $249 for the buffet and drinks included, just hope it is a good as last Christmas. It only popped on the website this weekend,

Baked leather jackets, home made wedges and salad of some sort, have plenty of veges and greens for it.

I was just starting to plan the Christmas Day lunch menu for home as i still have a turkey in the freezer i bought for Christmas in July but ended up not doing but checked Delta Rue's website last night and saw the Christmas lunch was happening again so i booked it straight away, it was fantastic last year.

Savory beef and pork mince with rice. Baked lemon potatoes.

Pork and apple rissoles , mash potato, steamed carrot, zucchini, green beans and asparagus. The asparagus this season has been beautiful so far.

Spaghetti bolognese. It was good and easy as it was a batch I had previously frozen and so I only had to boil some pasta.

Very ordinary Chinese at Wests Tsree last night, it was handy as it is only a 100 mtrs from my brother in laws house.
Some sort of BBQ tonight as we won a meat voucher in the meat raffles so will check the butcher out after a trip to the markets.

Got some yummy mulbeery jam and guava jam at the markets. Also a couple of nice mixed relishes.

Just having a home made beef burger with mushrooms, beetroot, tomato, cheese, rocket & spinach.

I’m going to make a chicken satay tonight with some jasmine rice.

Lamb steaks, lamb loin chops, sausages, zucchini, onions and potatoes done on the BBQ, potatoes came up like crisps on the BBQ, so good. Side salad of tomato, lettuce and beetroot.

Well potatoes were in very short supply today. I tried two Woollies and 2 Coles and no white potatoes and what was left of the red ones were very ordinary. I hope they restock tomorrow.
