I will respectfully disagree I thought it was a crazy declaration on a par with the English declaration in the Ashes

PS We may still win the game but even then I won’t agree with that decision Let’s just hope we don’t fall anywhere within 23 runs of whatever total we have to chase

While i would have liked to see Cummins maybe stay in and try to hit an unlikely century the fact it was there was only one wicket left and i doubt whether Hazelwood would have offered much resistance if he was on strike i reckon it was the right decision to declare, although Cummins may have got Australia back to level pegging had he remained on strike i think the decision to declare was justified when the Windies lost a wicket before stumps .

That loss sits firmly on Cummins for his ridiculous and arrogant declaration when 23 runs behind on Day 2 No Captain in their right mind declares when 23 behind on Day 2 it is indefensible

Winners take chances or take their chances that are given to them and Cummins gave them a massive chance by declaring 23 runs behind
