Roosters, Ashes, Matildas, what a sport’ overload we have tonight. But Roosters come first, then Ashes and Matildas.

Caitlin Foord . Hayley Raso and Cortnee Vine will be the main goal scoring options now - This will be a tough match - Win and they are through to the round of 16

haven't been to any games but it's been good having supporters walking around the place.

possibly good news on kerr's calf but we'll see if she's really good to go tomorrow night. canada are the best credentialled team in our group and we've got to beat them to progress ...

Australia will have to beat Canada to advance as a draw won't be enough

Canada has won the last 2 recent meetings in 2022 - 2-1 and 1-0

Great first half by the Tildas. Well on top. First game of the series I've watched. Still can't believe the voice of the Ref! Who needs Sam K?

I’m watching the Ashes on one TV, while the soccer is on in another room. It sounds like it was an awesome win by the ladies.

Big effort from the girls every time I flicked over from the cricket they were putting one in the back of the net.

They played well Difference between this and Nigeria game was We took our chances and didn’t make poor errors in defence

Who needs Sam Kerr I think we do if we want to go deep into this tournament which to my eyes looks very open

great performance from the girls. made me proud to be an aussie. raso was cool in front of goal, foord was dynamite down the left. fowler was lucky to get her goal but looks a real talent. if we can get a fit sam kerr back we'll give it a shake. games tonight will decide who we play but looks like denmark

Some major shocks with both Brazil and Germany going home early with Jamaica and Morocco going through instead Such a pity we didn’t get the trifecta with USA being very close to being knocked out which would have seen Portugal advance

The wild scenes by the Moroccan girls on the field all huddled together watching the end of Germany and South Korea on a mobile phone when they realised they had gone through were great to see
