What exactly did Mini do that was good today? He caught one tough bomb. Made one break off Anasta but failed to look for support til it was too late. Other than that he was slow, terrible in defence (most NRL fullbacks would have stopped Jennings from reaching out to score), and ran sideways. He's well past it and we are at a disadvantage to nearly all other teams because of it.

Bingo! Yatzee! Put you're glasses down we have a winner. That lack of effort on Jennings was utter shit.

Pearce is just fine. To me he is a hooker playing halfback. That is okay though - he was never the create a million tries kind of player. He has always been the player who gets your team heading in the right direction. The problem with Pearce, and other players like him, is that you need him to have some creativity around him so he can actually do his job. And that's been a problem for us. We had that for one year, and we nearly won a grand final. The rest of the time though he has to battle with crap (Anasta) or someone who went off the rails again (Carney). Get some creativity around him and we're laughing. Find us a good 5/8 who can create a try, as well as a fullback who can make a try, and we will win a grand final with Pearce at 7.
