  • 6 & 7

Today was no different to last week, except we got lucky against souths. South were much better and deserved the win. And our attack last week was as disjointed as today. I understand we have our centres out but our 6 & 7 have got to give us a lot more in attack or we are in big trouble. Yeah penrith forwards may have won the day but ours still got us into some pretty good field position. It's just that Pearce and Anasta were dreadful. This is not a bash Pearce thread, I just think ours halves lack creativity.

How much would it cost to get Maloney released early??

Personally i'd be willing to give Kheirrellah or Henry a shot at 6.... Couldn't hurt..

Pearce has always lacked creativity, has it suddenly hit people now?

Pearce strong point is organising, we need a 5/8 who can run the ball. Forwards offered nothing and our back line was just as worse.

Would rather have seen Mortimer out there instead of Anasta.

He played shit but to put all the blame on him would be a joke! Besides perrett and JWH, all can hang there heads in shame. 2nd week in a row our pack has been poor.

I have been one of Minis biggest critics for the last 18 months but he was one of our best today and with the youth in this side he needs to be there. What a bloody champion he is. But sentiment aside, this needs to be his and Anastas last years.

Mini effort in defence was extremely poor.

According to the grape vine they will be...and they've already been told so.
                      ...along with JWH.

                      No money to resign JWH?
                      Ridiculous decision!!!

Mini should be kept, on a year to year basis.
Fullback, wing, we need him after the joke that was today!

                      JWH, our best forward today.

Next year we should go with Mortimer and Maloney.

I can safely say, today seemed to be a case of Braith and Mitchell saying to each other at the same time "You take control of the team...... no you, No you, No you" Etc.

i don't know if one expected the other to take control because seriously, we were rudderless. Either Braith does the creative part and lets mitchell organise, or Braith organise and let mitchell be creative. Either player cannot do both at the same time

Both halves looked like they were thinking one thing, then changing their minds at the last minute, only for the play to break down.

These 2 need to talk, agree with who's doing what and stick to it and back themselves !!!!

Mario, one of those 2 is the Captain so if he can't decide then we should find someone who can.
