    Precisely.

We must of because Manu played on the wing in attack & defence in the game I was watching.

I'm sure I saw him pop up on both sides of the field.

Butcher - 6 runs for 54m, 35 tackles (1 miss), conceded 1 penalty in 54min. Probably like another run or two. Otherwise okay.
Sitili - 8 runs for 69m, 31 tackles (3 miss), no pens in 80 min. I know he was in the centre for the last 25.
                Angus - 12 runs for 113m, 40 tackles (1 miss), 1 error, no pens in 80 min.

Butch ain't that bad but we need a whipping boy. No Iku, SKD, Pearcey, etc.

On a different note, wish we'd kept Josh Curran.

They may have swapped at different times but there was no way Manu played the whole game on the wing in attack and defence

Took the words right out of my mouth.
Starting Watson at rake, is probably the only option at this stage, happy to have kept Smith, think he'll step up, a lesser coach would have pushed him out to the flank.

                      Indeed.
In my mInd, playing Walker is a big mistake.
                      Watson is wasted at Hooker.
Lam or Marschke should be hooker and Watson half.
Keary should always be 6 like he was when we won b 2 b.
                      Many is a huge team.

I keep seeing Fletcher Baker running hard when he is close to the opposition tryline, then he pops that offload up to a support.
Maybe now I see what Trent sees in him.

Trent seemingly did a lot of tinkering in round 1, and I don’t know if I agree with it (probably speaking too soon). Swapping Sitili and Angus? Starting Baker and Collins? Just some decisions that were made that really scrambled the mind and I could only assume he’s tinkering with some things.
Yes well the "playing *everyone* out of position" tinkering was a dismal failure.
Time to play properly this week.
Collins is a second rower, we need a couple of those big, square-bodied, heavy props who trample the opposition.

                          'Go forward?
What go forward, it was non existent.
                          Our players seemed all bamboozled.
The Knights on the other hand were all go forward.
Players organised, rehearsed...running onto passes at pace, running angles, like wind up toys switched to 'high'.

Watch the try again Keary kicks across field Momorovski wearing number 5 on the inside of Manu scores the try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJJqDTpktOI
Manu played at least 90 -95 of the game on the wing. He was dropping back on 6th tackle to take a hitup on tackle 1 or 2 which is the job of a winger in a Trent Robinson coached side.

When fielding a clearing kick from wing why did Manu often shift the ball to Tedesco nullifying the move instead of running it back? It was a definite tactic that they persisted with. Will they try it again this game?

I remember when people used to get equally frustrated with Robinson's continual picking of Aubusson. Or Jake Friend.

Again, Butcher didn't get to play in his positon because there was an injury and a reshuffle which meant he had to fill in at 2nd row.

Went out there and in 45mins made 35 tackles.

These are the type of players and toilers that every successful club needs, the narrative will change on Butcher and people will soon realise his worth. I think it's harder to realise his worth in a losing side because the assumption is always that we must look for more in attack.
