Everyone listens to the media too much, especially ex-players who most of them are a mouth piece for their managers on other players and coaches their managers manage. So he worked with Smith, Cronk, Slater, Munster for his entire time in Melb then come to a premiership team that toweled the Storm in the GF and works with Friend, Cronk, Keary, and Teddy. Not sure there is too much you can get wrong with those spines. He hasn't improved Victor playing 9 and he hasn't improved Latrell at 6 so I think the jury is out. The Bears look like they attack OK on the weekend so I'm tipping the attacking coach from the premiership year may still be of use.

I like the way he's handled himself this year. He was stoic during their early year form slump, then they came good. He also bought this coaching debacle to a head in a mature way.

But as to his coaching nous though, hard to be a fan of that.

Brownie is the template for getting punted in the NRL
compare him to Trent Barrett and Flanagan?/

        blame blame blame
every coach who gets punted has an excuse.....not Brownie. I’m a fan

Nathan Brown has tried to big note himself despite his failures. He finally got a crack squad and imploded regardless. He isn’t up to NRL coaching pressure. Slapping Barrett and telling Ramien to go are bookends to his career.

He should go get a job selling home loans to peddle his bullshit
          ..it’ll be interesting to see

If O'Brien was as good as the hype around him why has he been an assistant for over a decade?

Surely if he's that good someone would have given him a crack by now.

BS, he hasn't tried to big note himself once. The only thing he is guilty of is not being hard enough. He should have punted Ramien after 2 weeks

This thing also shows 2 things, no-one but TR is expendable (incl players) and TR is such a fan of the game that he willing to let things happen that may not be in the best interest of the Roosters but can benefit others and the game

The Knights could be the first team boo'd by heir own fans as they ran out to start the game.

                        Drink that in Pearce.

                        Chook.

By the way, wasnt too hard for us to beat them last time we played was it?
The only reason the beat us earlier was we took the field with Cronk being given a rest, plus some other injuries.

Keary was knocked out of the game in the first ten minutes and Latrell may as well have been playing pinball all match and had a disinterested shocker at five eighth. Once they got momentum it was jersey kissing time.

Robbo cut no excuses as Pearce and the Knights revelled. The second time around brought redemption and reality to bear. They were and are no match.

Agreed. That side is better then where they will finish this year but not a scratch on us so wouldnt make a difference anyway. They would be simply making up the numbers in the eight. There would be at least 6 decent sides well ahead of them.

I wouldnt be disappointed if Nathan Brown became one of Robbos assistance's.
