In all honesty I think Melbourne would have been better off copping the charge and instantly preparing for the match with Jerome Hughes as Fullback. they spent half a week fighting that charge, then he got off and they had Dally Ms next night Fan Day appearances the following day. It was that day I realised how poor their preparation for this match must be. But no it was all about Billy Slater and him playing his last match Melbourne as a club got that wrong yeah they got him olff but it was at the expense of a good GF preparation. Either way though we still would have beat them That game was done at half time.I respect all our moderators here. Past present and even future. Always have done and always will do a wonderful job.

Respect - well the entire Roosters Bay stood and generously applauded and even cheered some of our arch enemies from other team as the retiring players did their lap around the ground.
The NRL have placed a stain on the game as a result of the last week.
i think the message which would have come from any team opposing the Storm.

I paid for my tickets so I will yell out whatever i want to and I do. I never swear, be racist or sexist, but i will boo all ****ing day if i choose whilst grubs like Smith & Slater are on the field. Their Coach and players have introduced too many grubby tactics to the NRL to mention. The Storm have systematically cheated for years and now they want to get precious about harmless booing, give me a ****ing break

The NRL thinks the fans are idiots and this was our way of showing what we thought of the judiciary and the fact Slater was let off. But I do agree that when the game is won and highly respected players of the game are giving a speech the fans should have shown a bit more class. I do always believe our club is regarded as a classier club than most and should have put hostile emotions aside after the match was won. Cam Smiths speech was very classy about how our team played last night and he was very good in defeat.

Didn't care about the Booing crowd as they pay their entrance it's their choice, On Slater the guy has been a real grub, a stain on the game for years whether it's for the kicking whilst catching, boots first tackling in the ingoal, taking numerous dives and all round cat play I can't say I will miss him nor see what others see in him. If the choice was between Mini or Slater Mini wins hands down in all facets of the game.

Booing during the game is fine its part of the fun and games. I don't think it was billy's fault the NRL let him off so the booing at the end during the presentation was a bit much.
Saying that if Munster, Chambers or that other dick centre were speaking I would boo because they are disgraceful even for MelbourneThe Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid

I booed Billy all night, because I actually do respect him. He is a great and I’m happy to say I’ve seen his career. I booed him for fun... also to put him off.
i would have hated to see him miss that game... it gives our win more meaning...and I think we need to make sure we always have the best players available for the big games unless they try to decapitate people.
