as it stands and as it was obvious from tonight, taka doesn't have the passing game to play in the centres, definitely best off as a backrower. if we're going to use a backrower as a centre, better it being Symonds i think, but even then I think it should be BJ in the centres.

Honestly, I hope Carney stays and try him at FB again like some have suggested, even if its just for 2012, push mini to the wing so the backline looks like

1. Carney
2. Perrett
3. SKD
4. BJ
5. Mini
6. Anasta
7. Pearce

Then come 2013, put Carney back into the halves, punt Anasta and find ourselves a young gun fullback to replace mini. I think this is the best way to make value of both Anasta and Carney because as it stands, Anasta is wasted in the backrow and for what we're paying for him and the shit it causes, isn't worthwhile

I have a feeling the breach notice issued to Carney isn't worth the paper it was written on. Roosters will have to pay Carney out in full and lose a big chunk of their salary cap, or let him play. Which would you choose?
