Backline depth for 2012?

I think we'll be fine. We can still cover an injury or two to our backs with guys like Carney and Moga, and at a stretch Aubusson or Symonds. Right at the moment we are slowly whittling down to some core long-term players. I think that's what we need to do before chasing too hard for too many players. In my mind, we need to keep an eye out for a good fullback to replace Mini (Tomkins/Hoffman/Dugan in 2013?). Beyond that? Who knows. At one stage I wanted Bolton to replace Myles, and McGuire to replace Ryles, but our youngsters have really lifted. If Carney goes I'd love for us to chase Shaun Johnson. That guy is a phenomenal player.

I totally agree,very gifted player and one of the best i have seen in years.
Reminds me of Benji but more slick,he is still very raw but will blossom to something special.
He and Locke are the two reasons why i think the Warriors are smokeys this year,those two guys add a different dimension to that team.

Cheyse Blair, Rona and Moga all have the size to handle first grade...most of the others don't. Aspeli Fine can also play.

Kevin Gordon or David Meade would be handy however...LOL

Big decision for the club though...build some fair dinkum rooster culture by signing the above for three years each OR throw the chequebook at some high profile risks.

Well you gotta get out to the games early geo. He's good for one awesome line break and a flick pass try assist at least a game. He must be so strong in a functional sense. The amount of times you see 3 guys on him as he's struggling for metres then breaks free of all tacklers to head off further down field is unbelievable. I think we're now really starting to see the products of O'Sullivan's good work.

I reckon naughton and Pritchard won't stay. Blair, moga, alofa, and to a lesser extent taripo, osullivan and fine are all seriously talented kids.

I think you're right. I heard that if he was 18, he would have cracked a spot this year. The club does not want to play him in firsts until he turns 18

I'm surprised to hear that the club has not signed Curtis Rona, the other centre. He is another one who should be kept IMO
