I've decided to spam the forum with footy threads.

It's pretty clear that 2017 is the make or break year in Kane Evans (Roosters) NRL career.

If he starts in rnd 1 he'll have to hit the ground running with the likes of Tetevano, Knight and Smith lurking for an opportunity.

So which way do you think his career heads in 2017?

Will he live up to his potential and rediscover his 2015 form or will he fade into disappointment?

I am not feeling confident about Kane, hope I am wrong.

I've said it before and i'll say it again - he'll be nothing more than mediocre as a prop unless he gets mongrel.

Reminds me of a poor man's Dane Tilse, but with very little intimidation factor. That aint gonna cut it in first grade.

I really can't see him setting the world on fire.

He wants to play a bit wider , looks good when he runs straight and hard.
Just because he's tall doesn't make him a front rower , he can break tackles and offload. We need to fire him op and run straight.
He is an attacking weapon.

kanes biggest floor in his game is his defence. if he goes out wide we will be exposed. ala crapley.

He was carrying a shoulder injury for much of last year wasn't he?
He needs to fix his defence and learn to hold onto the ball. I lost count of the number of times he dropped the ball last year.

Kane seems to be quite a bit bigger than Dallas so is therefore a bigger pussy.
In fairness he was supposedly running around with an injury last year.
Either way, it's make or break for him this year.
