Too early to tell for me. I'm not against him. I just wouldn't get into a bidding war for him.

watson will be the halves reserve and more than likely be the bloke to give jake a rest. pearce will play origin next year if his form continues and there are no off season stuff ups. Ryan can fit any where. halves, centre, 2nd row. both Guerra, Boyd wil be missing over ori9in time. Dylan will play ori9in as well. so there will be a rotation required for the forwards. fergo should also be picked for ori9in. This will be a thin year 2017 over that period

Watson the bright light of the unusual 2016 season. As soon as he got more game time his potential really shone and certainly not daunted at all unlike a rookie we signed . The other stand out was TKO - his goal kicking adds further value to his game and the team. It could appear the signing of Keary was pre mature however I think Robinson is building a team not only around youth blended with experience but a. patten of versatility.

If Connor Watson gets a kicking game between now and next year, Keary and Gordon will be getting splinters in their arse.
            SUPER DRAGON!

Why the urgency to rush a kid into a full time spot? He looks like he has potential but as you say, he needs to develop a passing and kicking game to go with his obvious strong running game. Keary already has a passing and running game as well as experience and composure. Gordon is the one I wonder about. Tbh I wouldn't mind seeing latrell in the centres for the next two weeks.

Latrell should be played at fullback this year & next where he is lethal this playing him on the wing or in the centres is ridiculous. The bloke is a stand out fullback & that is where he should be played.

I think Mitchell will play fullback most of next year with Gordon on the wing. Gordon will be fighting hard for that 1 jersey though so Mitchell is going to have to work hard.
I see the same situation with Keary. He will start at 6 but he will need to perform every week because Robbo has seen what Watson can do.
Competition for spots brings success. Look at the clubs with good depth and there generally in the top 4
                  Looking forward to next year

Especially when being held back by fergo, who to be fair has been going great in attack, but not knowing how to take a bomb, or trying to diffuse them with his feet, is the worst display buy a fullback i have ever seen.

Lets not fcuk this Mitchell situation up as we did with rts.

Mitchell is much closer to being ready for the number 1 than Watson the number 6.

Who is a better option at 6 than Watson? Keary?

Of course keary. Watson may very well end up a better player than keary who knows? But in 2017 there's no way Watson will offer the consistency that keary will.

He hasn't had a run in the centres. I don't want to compare him to Inglis but he has obvious physical comparisons. Latrells size and speed would make him a gun centre. In my opinion he will really need to work on his ball playing to be a good fullback. I'd like to see him have a run in the centres for the last two games that mean nothing just to see how he goes. We will have a huge crack at the open market in 2018. Few handy fullbacks will be off contract, tedesco, Jack bird and Tom trbojevic.

Maybe we didn't get Moses at the last minute this year because next year we are taking Moses and teddy? 😀

The Roosters will regret buying Keary.
Huge ego, extremely disruptive, not a team player and vastly over rated.
His kicking game is awful and defence very suspect.

It's not a coincidence that Souths have returned to the winners circle since Cody Walker has been at 5/8.

Swap Walker with Keary the last 2 weeks and Souffs still win both games..
Inglis returning has made all the difference..
