Matto at centre [in city country game] goes up and in like Fergo did at centre [caused us to leak far too mnay points] so for me its a no, atm moment Aubbo at centre tightens up that side in D.Love what Tauks did on the edge yesterday[no suprise being he has played centre/backrow]. With our current roster and team at full strenght [God willing] I would love to see us play; 2, skids 3;Copley 12; Cords 7; Pearce... 5; Fergo 4; Aubbo 11; Tauks 6; Matto

Matterson has it but needs to run more and get involved more. Comparisons to Freddy are alright but Freddy never held back he had a go .

Centre is too important a position to have no attacking flair. Fergo can't defend for shit but he needs early ball in the centres.

Rubbish, great wingers outside of solid centres is our best option atm, we need good starts to our sets.. In the red zone on certain plays Fergo attacks at centre swapping with Aubbo, our D is 100% better with Aubbo at centre.

Yep. As the old saying goes, wingers win matches..

Is Ryan Matterson one of those players that will always have Butterfingers? That's 3 games now where I have seen his handling is terrible. Even that near intercept. He got both hands to it.

Some players just have terrible hands for some reason. I remember as great as he was, Mark Harris used to drop the ball a lot. Maybe Matto is one of those players.

Certainly a pattern developing, hopefully with more experience it leaves his game. I think he is definitely a first grade player, not sure what position yet though.

                            He isn't a five-eigth at all.

                            What a shambles.

He's the one silver lining in an otherwise retarded season.

I like him at 5/8. Not many big boys in the number 6, and I think size matters in that position.

I'll go on the record to say he'll play Origin. I rate him that highly.

Most definitely. He reminds me a lot of John Sutton. I really hope he doesn't turn out to be one of those, too soft for the forwards and not skilful enough for the halves type of players. He's definitely a first grade footballer. It's up to the coach to use him in the right manner which looks like a ball playing forward. But definitely not a 5/8.
