Very few on here wanted Mini at this age yet you are prepared to welcome Gordon with open arms.

A big no from me, Gordon is past it, why should we help parra out but relieving pressure on their cap, let them suffer so we can have a crack at Mau instead

Agree. Would have taken him last yr. Too late now with the season gone. Mitchell is ready for fb imo. He's been close to our best this season and is getting better every week.

we have $600k available so why do we need to flick Elliot

"Gordon’s departure would also be reliant on the Roosters releasing Elliott"

From the same people who told us we had $600k available

I thought signing players that are old and past it was so mid to late 00's.

I'll be very disappointed if he wears the rwb this year

Correct. I think he's been very steady this year in a team going a whole lot better than us!!

This is a poor decision,Elliot deserves to be in 1st grade! Toupo & Burgess should go first & Gordon is a panic buy.

                    Kicks goals.

                    Hits holes and backs up.

                    Can draw and pass.

Those skills alone has him ahead of most of our backs.

Would be a good stop gap option to help us avoid the spoon.

I see this more as further evidence that SoH could be on the way out. Gordon's goal kicking is pretty much all he has got. His general play is nothing special and can be covered by others.

SoH is kicking at 80%+ and it sounds like he may not be goal kicking anymore if we have Gordon.

Enough already with the "He's too old"

The worlds best player is 33 and in career best form.

Looking at the bigger picture, Gordon ticks several boxes for us

*Recognised goalkicker (should Hastings be shafted)
*Solid defensive fullback (as good as Mitchell is in attack, his defence & lack of communication has cost many points this year)
                          *Experienced
*Allows Mitchell to take a much needed break from the rigours of fullback and into the centers/wing

I think we should have snapped him up before the pre-season.

Will be a good buy if it proceeds.

I will be very sad if Elliot leaves, lots of upside, very fast and committed in defence. Toupo should have been out the door weeks ago.

I'd much rather Latrell Mitchell at the back even with his inexperience and errors he is way more dangerous than Gordon, and I would rather keep Elliott
