I did see that thru the 1st half but doesn't the coaching stuff see it and either get Friend to bring it up to the ref or play at their game too? Perhaps if we did it too then Cummins would be force rule on it for the rest of the game. You can't whinge on it after the ship has sailed. Also when Kereabate left and they put a forward as a centre, very few times the ball went down that side and when it did we scored. We just played dumb on and off the field.

The game was refereed like an origin game, which suited the storm down to the ground, but it was reffed that way both ways. Our young forwards were simply rattled by being in am arm wrestle and had no ide how to assert themselves. JWH would have thrived tonight with so much leeway in the ruck. The last 2 weeks without him we've played a powder puff forward pack and then a forward pack who had chucked it in. They got false confidence that it was going to be that easy every week.
We lost tonight because our forwards got rattled, Maloney was off, and Friend played like he was back on the piss. Nothing to do with refereeing

I thought one of the crucial calls was the penalty they got when they lost control of the ball about 10 metres out. Cummins called that he lost control but the other dufus said hands in the ruck. They went up field to score the penalty goal to make it 8-8.
We lost the game ourselves but not refereeing the ruck played a big part but Robbo said he knew that would be the case in semis.
We really only started playing in the last 20 minutes when we had to score. We looked nervous and hesitant to take chances in the first 60 minutes.
We were trying to beat them in an arm wrestle which has not been our style this year. We played the way they wanted us to play and they are the best in that style game.
It was the worst we have played in 12 weeks and I doubt they could play any better. Just not our night but we will come back better for it.

For a team who has won more games than any other side over the last 3 years Inc finals 57 wins 22 losses this equates to an average of slightly over 7 losses per season Yet we have a record of 1 win 6 losses out of our last 7 when Cummins referees us strongly suggests he plays a part in how well the opposition allows us to playOriginally posted by trewhella View PostYou are only as good as your opposition let you play. Cummins was not the reason we lost
Credit where it is due to Melbourne last night their 2nd half with ball in hand was faultless and that had nothing to do with CumminsLast edited by Andrew Walker; 09-12-2015, 08:47 AM.I respect all our moderators here. Buddy another one was the20m ruling when the Melbourne winger jumped from within his in goal and cuaght the ball 2m inside the field of play. Surely that is not a rule is it?Originally posted by BUDDY View PostI thought one of the crucial calls was the penalty they got when they lost control of the ball about 10 metres out. JT I assume the club is aware of this if not they need to be made aware The club and also someone on here (calling Tommy Smith) needs to go back at least the last 3 seasons and see what our win loss ratio is under Cummins he needs to be exposed and slowly we are now gathering evidence to do so We need to amp this up 57 wins 22 losses in the last 3 seasons I wonder just how many more were under CumminsOriginally posted by Johnny Tobin View Post
It's not an anomaly. It's evidence of his bias against us.

Add the fact that Roger looked like a deer caught in headlights and the Storm played themselves to a standstill. Credit to them, but I think that was their Grand Final...
We'll be back but if we make the GF I hope we can handle the pressure better than we did last night?
