  • Cummins

This asshole has been biased against us for years.

All the way back to his first games.

Tonight Storm wrestle was totally out of control. Yet we couldn't get a penalty. No wonder we couldn't get on a roll.

That's one win from the last seven under this prick - whilst at the same time we have been the most dominant side in the comp.

    Do the maths.

1/7? That would be an anomaly of true. Melbourne no doubt played a spoiling game but it was reffed fairly both ways. But surely we knew that type of match was coming.

Can't blame the refs for that one. That's on Maloney.

He's a cheat. And he did a number on us tonight.

What a shock he ruled SSTs effort a no try.

The Storm wrestled us into frustration. As I said they play twister in the ptb and frustrated us ala the Sharks with their niggle.

How about the contrast between last weeks first 40 and this weeks? Staggering. Half of it was us. The other half was Cummins and the Storm.

B2B losses to the Panthers and ****ing Storm in weeks 1 of the finals have defined this 3 year window. So sad. Oh yeah, and that **** Cummins.

It is far too easy to blame the referee. We had no player who could remain cool under pressure and we squandered possession and territory through an awful kicking game.

I lost all confidence when i seen his name. Problem is we will likely get him again..

I don't think Cummins did us any favours but he's not the reason we lost, Melbourne just played the perfect game to beat us and we played poorly, if we play well we win it's as simple as that.

If it's not cummins, it's maxwell, checcin, Klein, Harrigan, Hartley...Where will it ever stop? We were outplayed pure and simple.

We all know the ref's try to ref the semi's like SOO so the wrestle was always going to be on, it's a style of game we struggle against. In saying that we played rather poorly with a number of players looking like that the job was done last week and were already on holidays this week. We can only hope they bring their A game next week as they bought their C ( Crap ) game tonight. Why oh why do they save the crap effort games for home.

i didnt have much of an issue with the reffing tonight as no one really got an upper hand IMO....BUT! i was very pissed when melbourne knocked it on early in the second half and the ref called it a knock on only to change it to a penalty 5 secs after calling it... and we didnt even get to see it on replay to see wtf it was for, that led to them hitting our line then forcing a drop out...big call change as we would have had a full set in there 20.

Smith kicked his team to victory tonight, and the forwards did their work better than ours.. Simple as that, we cant blame the refs

Robbo basically said in the press conference that they didn't referee the ruck.

My other gripe was that other ref flaying his arms around to get the Storm back onside for the first 3 sets of every set and not one penalty. Storm offside most of the night

The ruck crippled our power game, we simply could not get consistent swift play the balls off due to grabbing at the ball way after the tackle had been completed, something that has been an instant penalty all season.....until tonight. The crowd were going off all night about it too but Cummins wasn't having a bar of it, oh well back to 2012 we go then.

Cummins is a cheat the no try ruling tonight showed just how bad his cheating bias is against us

Last tackle options were terrible. That's what cost us the game. I hate the 7 tackle rule, its totally over the top
