The NRL have to change the 7 tackle kicj rule it is a blighton the game naking it boring and predictable. Id rather see a side on the odd occassion kick it dead to slow the game down than whst we have now because of the rule change

Maybe you are right, maybe you Chook Norris, SITW know more than our premiership winning coach. The tactics of the premiership winning, world club championship winning, dual minor premiership winning and coach of the team currently running third with the best for and against record clearly do not work.

Lol. I've been wondering the same thing JC. I have zero orange bars and yet I've seen other members who have been on here less than 6 months and made far less posts than me with orange bars. It's a conspiracy and there has to be an investigation!!Originally posted by John Corey View PostOn to far more important matters. Anyone know the meaning of the barcode type thingy under your username, some of it filled in Orange?
I'm lodging an official complaint as I have only 2 Orange bars.. JT has about 6!

So do tries and grubbers as does finding grass.Originally posted by Cockadoodledoo View Post
It's about playing the percentages.. giving away 7 tackles on the opposition 20 metre line against giving away 6 tackles (the first of which is usually when the opposition catches the ball) inside 10 will usually prevent the opposition from being able to build a platform to attack from.. It seems pretty straight forward to me.

They were trying to stop the long downtown kicks that went over the dead ball line to counter the fullbacks etc. But they included field goals and grubbers as well as catches on the full. Throwing the baby out with the bathwater it's called. They should change the rule so it only covers kicks from outside a particular area (like outside the 30m zone).

I think it has something to do with number of "likes" - not that this is a popularity contest.

This is the point where you just have nothing left. Tim Sheens hasn't won the minor premiership in each season he has coached in the NRL. Check Robbo's winning % vs Sheens.. Robbo still has a coaching job in the NRL and where is Sheens?Originally posted by Spanner in the works View Post

I agree, you can drop the ball over the line attempting to score a try and the opposition gets 7 tackles from the 20 metres.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View PostThe NRL have to change the 7 tackle kicj rule it is a blighton the game naking it boring and predictable. Grubbers often go over the dead ball line.
Finding grass allows them to bring the ball back a lot more than a bomb that gives our chasers time to get down and hammer them.
Tries.....that was just silly.
