We are the Roosters and are sick to death of hearing about what they do at Sydney FC forum, games or anywhere else....

i think some of you are being a little harsh. No im not playing forum police, but i dont think that hammering an enthusiastic young supporter is the way to grow our supporter base
yes people being overly enthusiastic is annoying, but at least he goes for the right team!

BINGO. Big flags are a pain in the arse at games. I bought a chook pen ticket for one season and wouldn't buy one again cuz I had to keep moving to see past all the freakin big flags that kept flapping in my face.Originally posted by Wally View Postso long as you have a plan. Just remember that too many flags CAN be a bad thing, because at the end of the day people are there to watch the footy!
If you want them, fine but don't stop in front of half the bay and block their views - go up the back. They're great at grounds that have a hill but a hassle in seated bays.
Unfortunately I can't make it to many games anymore, but I'd just sit in GA now to be able to watch the game itself.

Well considering the front half of the bay is where the flags have always been......those that sit behind then knew what they were up for when they brought chookpen passes......hence dont sit in the pen if you dont like the flags........
And I always manage to watch every second of the game.....
Its a matter of preferences really.......If you like the atmosphere and people.....sit in the pen......otherwise there is a whole stadium that doesnt have what we have.......

How could a first timer possibly know where certain people - or flags for that matter - sit within the bay? I enjoyed the atmosphere, and most people were friendly. Some with flags were considerate, but not all. More often than not I was there long before the flags turned up and sat further forward than I thought they'd been last time, and yet they still usually managed to get in front of me or in the row behind and the flag would be falling all over me from behind. I usually just moved when I had a flag in my face or blocking my view though.
But I did already say that I would sit elsewhere in future - if I manage to get to any games. Either I'm working OT and can't get there, or I'm working no OT and can't afford to go. Vicious bloody cycle really.

I wasnt having a go at you Tracey, just stating that surely you must have observed the chookpen from afar to want to sit there in the first place......and that would have given a slight indication of the flags presence......I know that some maybe a tad over jealous......but most of the flag bearers are unaware of there being a problem, due to their excitement and enthusiasm at the time........
And I understand the non attendance of games thing too......last year we had to miss a few more than I would have liked due to work commitments........
Hopefully this year it will be diferent......

Seems as though you've made the effort to do the right thing in order to be able to have your flag/banner at the games.
I hope they allow it.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
