Flags on display went well but I need new poles. PVC piping struggled in the wind.
Nick, these 2 tips.
Go and measure the length of your flag.
Go to bunnings, buy an extendable pole (paint pole) it will save you a world of hassle.

At a football club, there’s a holy trinity – the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don’t come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

It must be just trial and error to get these things right....
Is that what Perko used all those years with his big one??...
Perko got his flag pole speically engineered and machined, his flag though was made up of abour 6 pieces.
It all depends what you want your flag to do sue.
I have tinkered with using many diffent types of fabrics, many different types of flag poles, it is trial and error and knowing what you want your flag to do.

You would have seen the flag, it has been all over the world for the WWC and at most Rooster games for many years.....it was a huge flag of about nine smaller rooster flags sewn together....
What ever happend to it muzz??.....I made Wayne promise me after a drunken nightr at Easts a long time ago, that when he retired it, I could have it for my bed spread.....hehe....

yep similar to that one nick, you just need to find one that is the right size for your flags and you will be set.

I think I may have seen it, was it in the same row as I was in?
In other news, where are we at Penrith? According to the terms of entry big flags are only allowed at the back of the north hill. I'll bring it if we are there. Mario are you going?
I'm not taking any flags to Manly as there is not much room.

Not true Nick - There will be plenty of room at every Easts game for the rest of the year...
