Mitchell much like Hayne and Gallon has been there through the hard years against a peak QLD side... Tonight just like game 1 QLD just seem old, they made simple errors and gave NSW so much oppotunity... Mitchell will now be blamed for all the years of defeat while a player not as good will be seen as a legend.

Same, NSW win Origin last year without the Hayne injury, sucks for Pearce but probably a good thing for us and I predict we go back-to-back now.

Yes sorry for Pearce AND Maloney but there is the matter of the Premiership up for grabs which means much more than this mickey mouse competition. They should focus on making amends on this.

In 2 games, they have failed to nail a single kick to the best catching winger in the comp, Toups or even launch an effective attacking raid to Jennings. Poor coaching or ineffective halves?

Yea gf is more important however reputations for some reason are made in origin. Look at Wally, never realy done anything in ARL yet is an immortal coz he played well in the rep games a yr. On a ppersonal note Pearce will not be remembered for his premiership success but for his origin failure and thats unfair.

The halves did not win this match, Milanja. You made good comments in another thread but good luck to the current combo but lets be honest - they didn't guide our team around the park. Too often we ran cross field cramping outside backs. The game was often controlled for first 3-4 tackles by Farrah

Call it what you will, but there was a time 9yrs ago where lockyer turned up in the right place at the right time, and turned what would have been 4 series victories to NSW into the start of 8 in a row for QLD. You take your luck and chances when you can, and hodkinson took his tonight.

It's easy to win an origin if your in a team as it's 1 or the other. Of course QLD have had an exceptional team for 9 years and someone like Myles is not anymore and immortal than a Maloney. Lewis was a freak and one of the best ever and it's the SOO which made him an immortal because in the ARL he was coming into it late in his career as he mainly played in the QLD cup. To win a Premiership is 26 rounds against what 16 teams? There are SOO players that will never win a premiership and at the end of the day, that means more to fans and eventually players. To fans, SOO is a brutal game and the club means more than state or country.
